3 years ago Julio Jones was garbage and I drafted him finishing the second lowest in my league. Now it’s looking like I’ll finish in the same position thanks to this worthless a-hole. I said to myself “you were constantly pissed off last time you drafted him and he nearly made you fulfill the ultimate punishment, so don’t draft him”, but I like an Alzheimer’s patient still picked him as the overall #5 pick, basically lighting it on fire.

What a worthless piece of shite. Should be closer to the 90s than the Top fricking Five. Such a seat filler.

You don’t finish last or second to last based off one errant pick. It’s usually a string of bad decisions that leads to it

In the very least, he’s a bad luck charm. Won the league last year and handily.

The thing is, this year once you got past Bell, Brown, DJ it got tricky. then Beckham is potentially off the board. You had to go Julio/Freeman/McCoy. Each had their own potential issues

I have him in a dynasty league where we keep 25 players each year. Should have tried to trade his arse at the beginning of the season for a good draft pick.

I’ve a feeling he’s gonna find himself in the end zone a few times here in the fantasy playoffs.

It would be nice to make a nice run for the fantasy playoffs. I haven’t benched him yet, so some upside would be great.

Julio Jones entered tonight with 10 end zone targets (fifth-most in the NFL). One of the flukiest TD totals of the season (1).

They coming...

Given his skill level though, Julio has always been a pretty frustrating own, whether it’s random injuries/knicks or the falcons just not quite featuring him the way most teams do a guy with his talent

bench? he's hit double digit in every ppr game except the one he got hurt in early in the year.
He hasn't lived up to high end wr1, but he's been a low end wr1(ppr)/high end WR2(0.5ppr) and has been consistent. The TDs have not been there, but that's nothing new

When you draft someone in the first round (PPR or Standard) the expectation is for them to be a clear cut #1. Julio has not been cutting it as a #1. He’s a #2, and that’s disappointing given his ADP.

I said as much. Still nowhere near bench consideration

Went Julio over OBJ at 4 and honestly it’s worker out fine, at least he’s playing and scoring points. The targets are there, the TDS will come. He’s not dominate in PPR, but he’s a lock to score double digits.

Julio is 5th in yards and 10th in cacthes and targets

You gotta TTP. In the end, the TD reliant players will burn you while the safe baseline yards/red guys like Julio will lead you bc they are bound to find paydirt. If he doesn’t come around ya go down knowing you did the right thing and bought into rec/yards/targets and you take that L with your head high

yup. its why i alwys go for guys like thielen, parker, etc. theyll always get you 5 catches, and when they score, it's just gravy

Arguably the biggest myth in FF. A first-round pick can win you a league but it certainly won’t lose it

Pretty good indicator — my first, third, fourth, fifth and seventh round picks are all on IR and I’m doing just fine.
