This takes away strategy and risks. If there is a game time decision player on Monday, sometimes thats the risk you take waiting it out. If they don't play, you are screwed and you get 0 points. Thats how it goes. They way you guys are doing it takes all the risk out of it. I get the tanking part, but the scratch replacement is ridiculous.

We used to have this guy who would habitually abandon his team. He actually usually drafted pretty decent teams that could have competed for playoffs and championships, but by mid season he would always stop paying attention and end up leaving injured or bye week people starting.
We let him get away with it for a few years because he kept promising that he would keep up with it next year, we thought it was kind of funny having a "Taco" in the group, and we just started off as a small group that didn't take it hugely seriously. But he kept on fricking around and just giving us his money to add to the pot each year. The commish would just start putting the highest projected player into his lineup for him. We ended up not inviting him back a few years ago because it just wasn't fair to everyone in the league, and we wanted to make it more competitive.
I guess the moral of this story is that it might be ok as a stop gap, but if you are having issues with people violating competition rules then the only way to deal with it is to exclude them from the league. Having the commish regularly setting people's line ups as the status quo is a horrible way to operate a league.

Thats the thing. All this shite is being looked at now because they don't want people tanking...yet with 1 week to go nobody has tanked

I get the intent of the rule. But there are way too many loopholes.
Should rethink this one

That's lame as frick.
It's the owners job as a fantasy football player to put players in their starting lineup before lock time and save/submit
If they fail to do this then they don't care and deserve a 0
The entire game is based on who you own and start/sit.

I think most agree with that sentiment but when owners quit adjusting their roster, for whatever reason, it unfairly affects other owners. The only ideal solution is to have thoughtful owners but we all know how that goes.
I'm not in the league in question, but I know there would be a round table event with some open dialogue and voting before I committed to next year.

Maybe put the player that had the highest projection on the bench, that'd be a little less messed up.
In this case, the rule was known though and if people didn't like it they should have voiced their opinions before the season

Highest projected player. If Procise is projected 9 and scores 30 and Hyde is projected 10 but scores 15, Hyde is going in.

Dude frick you. You ran a complete shite league and were called out on multiple things. Every single time you acted like a complete arse hole, and every single time the vote went against what you wanted. There is NO DOUBT this vote would go against you too because it's the most bullshite thing out of all of them.

Whether it was said or not, I don't know. I'm certain it was said that you must have an active roster, and everybody agrees to that, but I still consider a late scratch an active roster.
Not having an active roster is playing somebody on bye, or someone who is out with injury that's been known.
If a manager plays a player who may or may not play and he gets scratched at the last minute that's shitty management and part of the game.
Then this shite hasn't even been done in over half the cases of it. If it was a rule it's not being enforced until now.

I'm not getting all worked up about it. It's the first year of a dynasty and we are working out the kinks. We (two commissioners) are running it a certain way and that's that.

Commish switched it out for him and Asiata's 8 or whatever points ended up costing me the game. To top it off, I would have secured a bye this week because I'd be 9-3 and not 8-4 right now
That's complete fricking chickenshit.

This is the 2nd issue on this board this season about you doing questionable stuff as commish
Can you comment on your inconsistencies and shady dealings

It'll all be good now because the only two that would speak up on the bullshite are now removed. So now it's smooth sailing and he has his yes-men behind him that won't question any of the shite going on.
There is plenty more than the two things, but I'll save it for another day.
