Ridiculous. My opponent effectively has four RB’s in his lineup.

It's also not Yahoo that initially allowed it. They use a company that supplies all of their stats and since they opened up their fantasy leagues early Samuels was listed as TE then and they don't think it's fair to change it midseason.

That's according to Brad Evans.

I tried to. I was sitting 10th on the waiver order the week that Connor went down. He got picked up by the guy who was 4th.

Jaylen Samuels has had RB/TE position eligibility all season. If we made a change removing TE eligibility, it would not take effect until this evening, after most claims had been made. Not fair to change so late in the day or season

Jaylen Samuels controversy … He tested with TEs at the NFL Combine. Our provider, which designates initial eligibility, followed with a proper RB/TE tag. Yahoo game opened with the NFL Draft. Why the dual eligibilty stuck. It’s that simple.

He’s never played a snap of tight end in the nfl, never been listed at tight end on the Steelers depth chart, and he STARTS at running back.

Yahoo should have made the correction. It’s fricking garbage. I will lose my mind if I lose because my opponent was able to start 4 RBs. I’ll never play in a yahoo league again.

The crazy thing is he could be playing TE for your team if you had saved your waiver wire position or added him before Connor was hurt.

I started

Mixon
CMC
LF7
Samuels

in this week’s game. I see no problem with it. Then again I noticed him available at the TE position after Olsen got hurt and I picked him up. Everyone else had the option. I was last on WW priority

I never had Connor, if you’re implying I should have had a handcuff. If you’ve ever played ff, you know that these things can’t be foreseen. You and Lester are just trolling.

I have Conner.. I didn’t roster samuels because I didn’t need or care to handcuff James Conner. I have Conner, Cook, Fournette, Chubb, Mack, and Carson. So I don’t need jaylen fricking samuels the running back, I’m good there. I also have Kelce at tight end..

Now I get a matchup against a guy who has had awful tight ends all season.. and he gets to plug in a starting running back.

No, I'm really not trolling at all. Holding high upside handcuffs in strong offenses is generally good strategy whether you own the starter or not. It's especially smart when that handcuff has dual eligibility that could give you even more of an advantage. I wish I had thought to stash him in my lone Yahoo league- not like I was gaining much by rostering Sterling Shepherd or Trequan Smith. Lesson learned for next year.

I have no dog in this fight, but for the people advocating for for yahoo, did you not comprehend this? Plenty of other people TEST at different positions in the combine. Doesn’t mean they play that position. Yahoo is just covering for their lazy arse contractors.
