It's the situation, not the player. If Zeke had an injury like Breaux, who isn't playing or working out in the preseason, I would worry about him missing 6 games, and not being in football shape as TL was talking about. But Zeke is practicing, and I'm sure will get some snaps in preseason games.

So, I'm not worried about whether he would be good to go when the suspension is served.

Even if his suspension isn't reduced he will likely file an injunction and could play the whole season.

Drafted last night. Week 15 & 16 is our playoffs.. So I will have him for 7 weeks before.

2nd pick of the third round. I went Bell, Hilton, Zeke.

In order I'd keep Bell, Julio, Thomas, then Zeke.

It all depends on when you have to grab Dmac.

Like say you have the first pick in the 2nd round(pick 11), if you can grab Dmac after your 7th round pick(pick 71), then you should grab Elliot.




However if you have the 21 pick in the draft, you SHOULD grab Elliot, because you'll never have to spend a 4th on DMAC, you can easily wait til the 6 or 7th.




Dmac will give you a few good/serviceable games while you wait for Zeke. You can have that 3rd pick production for lesser draft pick slots. He should go in the 2nd round, it just depends on how soon you feel you would have to grab Dmac if you should take the plunge.

I'm not sure I'm understanding what you are saying. How are you supposed to know if dmac is available in the 7th when making your 2nd round pick?

The question I was coming here to ask is how early do you take dmac?

If the Cowboys have a slow start how much will he be playing when he gets back? Good shot they finish last in division

I figure if you're taking Elliott then you will need to take dmac early.

That guy is basically giving you a 1st/2nd rnd pick and a team's #1 WR for zeke.. take that no doubt
