Also just saw that the Bears supposedly have packages for Fields that they're expected to use tonight. These two may take over before long.

There was probably an emoji in the tweet. It's not significant.

Not sure if it’s been stayed but Trey Sermon is listed as inactive, coach’s decision.

Folks had me thinking he’d be an RB1 right away.

Not sure what people were thinking drafting a rookie 49ers RB that high. Guy in my league drafted him as his RB2. Healthy scratch.

Hard to read what Shanahan will do, he may end up using Elijah Mitchell as much as Sermon on the year.

Stafford:

New Rams QB Matt Stafford has been one of the most efficient play-action passers over the last two seasons.

Stafford leads a Rams Offense that has used PA at a top four rate in every McVay season:
?? 2017: 1st
?? 2018: 1st
?? 2019: 4th
?? 2020: 3rd

Matthew Stafford was effective passing on play action in his #Rams debut, completing 8 of 8 passes for 155 yards & 2 TD (+14.3 Pass EPA).

Stafford is the first player with multiple TD of 40+ air yards in a game since Kirk Cousins in Week 6, 2019.

James Robinson handled an absurd 85.4% of JAX's RB carries last season.

On Sunday, even with Travis Etienne done, Robinson handled just 35.7% of JAX's RB carries.

ARZ RBs in a game they led dominated wire-to-wire:

* Chase Edmonds 40 snaps, James Conner 34
* Conner 57% of RB carries
* Edmonds 100% of RB targets

Taylor Heinicke is starting at QB for the Washington Football Team on Thursday night vs the Giants, per sources. No official determination on IR for Ryan Fitzpatrick (hip) but he'll be declared out for this game. Kyle Allen will be the No. 2.

Brutal for WFT skill players.

Stephania Bell says that she's heard that Josh Jacobs is good to go tonight and expects him to have a big role.

Yeah I’m gonna bench him until I regret doing so. Deebo Samuel and Corey Davis both on my bench so it could be worse.

McLaurin got all his targets with Heinecke yesterday so wouldn’t necessarily jump to benching him unless you have clearly better options. But don’t think McLaurin will make the leap we were hoping for this year

Washington Football Team QB Ryan Fitzpatrick did suffer a hip subluxation, the MRI confirmed. He’ll be placed on Injured Reserve, source said, but no indication yet that it’s season ending.

Heinicke is a lateral move at worst. He’s shown glimpses that it could be a possible upgrade

Targets are still going to funnel to McLaurin. Redskins only threw 21 times yesterday. I’d be buying thr Gibson’s and Terry’s if available

Clyde Edwards-Helaire

This is fantastic usage for any RB:
- 72.3% of the snaps
- 14 carries (no other Chiefs RB had more than one)
- 93% of the carries
- 100% of the RB targets

Even though he didn't score that much, still encouraging usage for Clyde. Wish I had more shares of him. He's going to have much brighter days ahead if he stays healthy.

I would definitely sell high on Williams.
