Redskins have one of the worst rushing defenses in the league and the Vikings have shown they will run every single down if allowed to. I’d imagine there’s better options

If we knew Herndon was going to play I would take a chance with him. But, I don't think you can take that chance. Same thing happened to me last week and I was forced to play Shady becasue I didn't know what the status of players would be on Sunday. It's nice to be able to watch a game on Thursday, but it sucks in that situation.

He should at least get limited practices in today and tomorrow I would think for him to be good to go Sunday.
I'm eager to see if they'll allow Brees to play Sunday too.
It seems to me it'd be in the best interest for the team ROS to just sit them both with a good match-up at home this week and a bye week to follow. And I'm not just saying that because I'm playing against Kamara and need to start Bridgewater with Matt Ryan out.

The good thing about NO’s hot start is that they can afford to sit drew and alvin for one more week with the bye following after. No sense in rushing them back now

But the goal has shifted from "just don't sink while Drew is out" to having sights on that 1-seed, which is huge. And as bad as the Cards are, can't take any thing from granted.
I agree that they won't risk it if it's still iffy, but if they can go I think there's a legit chance to see them out there. Gotta keep an eye on those practice reports though.

I don't think so. I think they're just saying that to make GB have to prepare for both QBs.

Looks like David Johnson was not at the media portion of practice and Josh Jacobs wasn't present for warm ups.
