Im dropping him if the surgery happens. Have him and Hill in the same league with shallow benches. Just dont have the room.

Yeah I remember. Had to put you on the bench, drop James Connor and pick up some scrub.

I may carry for him now but he'll be my first cut

if he has the surgery, which at this point would likely be next week. Add 7-8 weeks of rehab, with a bye on week 10, you're looking at him returning to action week 10 on a team that's probably going to be well out of contention by then. Even if they aren't he's sure not coming into that game with much a workload. So it'd be borderline playoff team before you could even consider starting him. I'd rather burn a bench spot on kareem hunt for that long

Was looking to get a share of Conner, but I'm looking at his snap count (46%) to Jaylen's (33%).
Obviously game script wasn't ideal, but he can catch so script shouldn't ding his stats too much. Thoughts?

Jaylen was hyped up during camp and there were talks that he'd have a bigger role in the offense.... i stayed away

As far as Connor I can really only go off of what I saw from him last year when I had him. He was a bell cow and Samuels wasn't really a factor until the injury. Does that now factor into the staff wanting to manage his touches? Tough to tell IMO.

Mono can last over a month. Your spleen gets enlarged and susceptible to rupturing from even mild trauma. So I’d say Gase is spot on.

There are definitely different levels of mono. I had it in high school and it wasn't really an issue. Doctor told me if I felt tired then shite down and rest. A friend had it in like 5th grade and he could barely leave the house for over a month.

*no, that friend did not give me mono.

It’s looking like Conner is in a bit more of a split this year. I’ve got him right now and looking to flip him for a top end WR1.

I also have Kamara & Carson though.

ETA: Same league as above and I’m about to pull the trigger on picking up AP dropping Coleman.

17.2. TJ Hockenson’s

average air yards per target on Sunday, by far the highest among the 10 tight ends that received at least seven targets on the day (Kecle was second at 10.2). Hockenson’s impressive physical tools, highlighted by a 75th percentile weight-adjusted speed score, make him the rare tight end that can be a legitimate downfield threat. That, combined with his pedigree as a top-10 pick out of Iowa this year, make him an exciting prospect for the rest of the season. Hockenson owners should hold on tight while owners on the outside looking in shouldn’t be afraid to part with value for him in a trade.

I turned the game off early in the third quarter, but there was only one series where Samuels was in and Conner was resting up to that point

PIT-NE got out of hand fast, but a quick note about James Conner's usage in that game... Conner played 66% of snaps and saw 9 of the 13 RB opportunities (attempts + targets) in the first-half. Disappointing results, but usage was normal.

I'm showing 46% (31/67), not 66%.

Obviously not.

With that being said, Big Ben and JuJu were still out there with the game getting out of hand. So that makes me a bit skeptical about the game getting out of hand being THE main reason for the low second half snap count.
