Interesting numbers considering that thread about trading away Lockett to get Deshaun Watson.

I feel like Lockett is usually like that though.
Before the season started a guy in one of my leagues was trying to trade me Lockett for my dalvin Cook. I thought about it, but I never liked owning Lockett so I passed. Very happy I did.

Chargers RB Austin Ekeler is on pace to become the 4th RB with 1,000 receiving yards in a season in the modern era of the NFL. He's gone 128 targets without a drop. Reliable, explosive and a game-changer.
Ekeler, Benny Snell, or Miles Sanders? PPR

pick 1 out of Ekeler, Jack Doyle, Billal Powel? PPR

In Gerald Everett’s absence, #Rams Tyler Higbee leads all NFL TEs in these categories over the past 2 weeks:
* Targets (19)
* Catches (14)
* Air Yards (188)
* Yards after catch (103)
* Actual Yards (223)
* Next up #Cowboys, who’ve allowed 6th-most catches to tight ends.

Lockett was just fine up until his last 4 games. Weeks 1-9 he averaged 18.99 in PPR. If you take out his two boom games, it was still 14.04 PPR. So the "you've been starting a Randall Cobb" line isn't accurate for the majority of the season. Albeit, you've gotta rethink things with the current trend.
He left the SF game early with an injury (and they are the best passing defense), he was perhaps not 100% the next game, he goosed the next week when he and couple other players had the flu apparently, then just an average game this week. Russell has been playing a little poorly too and they've been more and more dedicated to the run. But I agree you've probably gotta make a switch and start another option if you've got one. The really difficult thing is he ends the year with two juicy matchups for WRs.

Since the end of Week 6, we've seen 29 different quarterbacks start 5 or more games. Among those 29, Tom Brady is 26th in fantasy points per game. Matt Ryan is 27th.

If you take away Tyler Lockett's 2 highest-scoring games, he'd rank outside of the top-50 WRs in fantasy points per game, behind names such as:
- Darius Slayton (11.8)
- Preston Williams (11.4)
- Larry Fitzgerald, WR47 (11.3)
- Randall Cobb, WR52 (10.73)
- Tyler Lockett (10.66)
+ 38% of his fantasy points in 15% of his games (most)
+ 3.9 PPR/G dropoff (2nd-most)
+ 10.9 standard deviation (5th-most)
He might have single-handedly won you Weeks 3 & 9
The rest of the time you were starting a Randall Cobb
I’m not a fan of Lockett and I don’t own him bc he’s too boom or bust. But if you take away Slayton’s two best games he averages 9.2 PPR PPG. And if you take away Cobb’s best two games he averages 8.5 PPR PPG. Gotta compare apples to apples here

This pleases me way more than it should.

Powell has an injury and Bell should be back. He can go back on waivers imo.

Stop here. This is the point of that tweet. Y’all are reading way too much into it
No one is starting the other guys bc they are up and down. That’s the point. Cobb, Slayton, Williams, Fitz did not cost you valuable draft capital otherwise the author of the tweet would dissecting them and not using them as a snapshot comparison to Lockett

Well that decision got a lot easier for me. Definitely firing up Golladay over Singletary
But the real question is Courtland Sutton or Keenan Allen

Only 12 WRs have averaged more points per game than Allen since you made a thread about benching him on 11/5

Chris Carson has handled 23.3 touches per game and played over 80% of Seahawks snaps in 6-of-8 contests when Rashaad Penny either misses or is limited.
Carolina ranks dead last in YPC and yards per game allowed & has given up the most explosive runs over the last 2 months.

Posted on 12/10/19 at 4:23 pm to GynoSandberg
As someone who has ridden Carson all season long, I like reading about the explosive runs part. But, Carson is not going to run a 60 yard touchdown
I think Hawks were playing Tampa and Carson had a 40 yard run and still got tackled from behind. The man runs like an 18 wheeler but he is not outrunning many people.
Posted on 12/10/19 at 4:23 pm to GynoSandberg
So basically he’s been a WR2
Posted on 12/10/19 at 4:29 pm to WicKed WayZ
Allen Robinson is WR9 with a 17.9 average over that span. Allen is WR13 with a 17.5 average. He’s WR11 for the season in PPR. Odd hill to die on

I’m not bashing Allen.
I simply have guys that I have a little more faith in based on the targets they’ve been getting.
Golladay
Edelman
Sutton
