Dude’s been calling his shot on this for awhile.

Whatever. It’s mostly tiresome to me.

We've spent like $20-30T to push it off since 2009. With the post-covid inflation from 2020-2021 spending, we're in a quagmire.

Watching Biden try to kick the can by spending trillions to create public sector jobs and jobs financed by the public sector.

lol, no

They are placing the blame on not getting their base enthusiasm up enough and messaging against Israel should have been tougher and identity politics should have been clearer.

Here's an alternative for you assclownpro:

The next 4 years we see a thriving economy like we haven't seen in a long time. With the advancement of AI entering into the technology space, we see a mountain of forward progress like we haven't seen since Clinton was president and the Internet went mainstream. Tariffs work and the money they bring in makes America prosperous again.

Then, JD Vance gets to run on that economy and proving to assclowns like you that they did what they said they would do, and it worked like they said it would work.

Of course, you're a Progressive, so you're already wishcasting that our country fails and that Republicans get blamed for it.

I just read through the thread and reply to the bottom post instead of scrolling back up. I will use quotes if I am directly responding to something like any good non heathen.

Alert system kinda broke that though, so good point.

I'm not wishcasting anything.

And I speak of this as a capitalist who wants less government and who thinks our deficit/debt are the #1 issue today.

The magazine is basically empty. We have no more magic bullets with inflation raging as soon as we reduce interest rates. Our economy is suffering due to this inflation. New jobs are all financed with public money.

Those high interest rates we need to tame inflation are going to destroy our deficit/debt issues due to interest eating up so much of our national spending.

The math doesn't work on our economy growing to fix our spending issues, and, even if it could, that would cause more inflation.

It's a gordian knot.

We're $36 trillion in debt, adding about $1 trillion every 100 days, have record deficits, and are already in a bad inflationary situation. I'm glad Trump will be in office to take on the challenge, but I think it will be too much.

No

Their core will not allow one step away from their far left agenda.

Their extremist are like anti Trump GOPers. They will not admit defeat until the American people beat them to death.

The issue is post-Covid inflation being added to the post-2009 issues.

We could deal with one, or the other, but both means stagflation is on the horizon. That + $36T in debt (and an ever-growing portion of our public spending on interest) is bad news.

That was the pre-election prediction if Trump won, but I'll have to see it to believe it. Here's why:

Taxes, foreign policy, regulations, etc., are easy to be fluid with. Even immigration. You can step on the gas or the brake at any given time with those and unless you sustain a significant trend and/or there are significant negative, results people don't even tend to notice.

But social issues are a different matter. Those genies won't go back in the bottle nearly as easily and some won't go back in at all.

The Democrats have pushed abortion so far forward and reiterated that narrative so much, they can't budge on it without losing the support of all of the women out there who think being able to sacrifice their offspring to Molech without any restrictions whatsoever is the most important issue in the world.

Same thing with the LGBTQ++ nonsense. They literally can't pull back on that. Those Chinese handcuffs only allow movement one way.

Now abortion may not have hurt the Democrats even though they have pushed it farther and more radically than any European countries I know of, but the child grooming certainly did.

DEI did, I believe. All white people being generally demonized and vilified did. And they can't stop those things.

This isn't going to happen and you know this. The left will always move further left. Kamala tried to run a campaign like she was moderate but people saw through the BS.

Dems will not move Right. They will triple down on the right being racist, ignorant rednecks. They should abandon all that and redefine themselves, but they are in way too deep. As long as the Hispanic vote moves to the right they are out of power for a while.
