It was never a swing state, but I get your point.
It was a state that could be flipped, and now I don't think it is.
Maybe kind of like Minnesota is now. Unlikely to flip, but not impossible.

I'm talking about not compared to 2016. You could help rather than being rude.
I’ll reiterate it. It has the raw numbers on that site.

No shite
People are watching it to observe larger trends that might bleed over into the rest of the country (like how is Democrat voter turnout on Election Day, this is the cope liberals are currently using to explain away terrible early numbers)

Correct. There are raw numbers of voters by each party at that link.

The theory is that if Florida “day of election“ voters surpass 20% for Republicans , Trump wins. 15% and below, he’s in trouble.

Just in Florida, or is this an extrapolation to the entire election? It seems odd that Republicans would dominate the early vote, then need an advantage of more than 20% on election day to win Florida.

It's an extrapolation

Just did my duty, showed my ID and a paper ballot. Purple Duval gonna go red. No line at all.

Any idea what kind of day of voting is expected?
Posted on 11/5/24 at 8:15 am to armtackledawg
Extrapolation, but I think even those numbers are too pessimistic. If Republicans are winning in raw numbers in some early voting while early voting was something like +13 to Kamala, he doesn't need to be >20% to win. FL+20% Election Day would be a blowout nationally, imo

Extrapolating the Florida numbers to the whole nation.

One other measure of enthusiasm is determining who got there early. We have the answer in Florida.

I do think Florida is a unique case because we have very competent leadership in the state that has more or less convinced the skeptical to support the GOP based on results. I would be hesitant to take a whole lot away nationally from Florida.

I am not in the least worried about FL. It will be a huge win there!
I'd love to hear from people in some of the iffy-er states, so please post if you're in one of those.
I'm in a deep blue state so it won't matter, sadly! Yes, we voted early anyway.
