If Americans vote for a borderless hemisphere and no rule of law, then it's already gone.

The fact that we are even this close makes me think it might be better to just get it over with.

Do you idiots understand how the system even works? The current way to citizenship is almost impossible.

Yep...because immigration never worked for us before.

Did everyone honestly believe we could and would deport 11 million people and build an impenetrable wall?

Why the frick do these people that cross the border illegally think they're entitled to citizenship when millions of people have had to wait their turn (including my grandmother)?

It's a damn slap in the face to anybody who's come here legally.

Its not almost impossible at all

Ignoring that you can just live here forever and get free shite for nothing

Try to go over to Europe and get a citizenship. All those lovely socialist eutopia's. You have a 0% chance. Those frickers over there talk smack but they are locked down

You have a really hard time with basic concepts like legal vs. illegal don't you?

Are you kidding me?

Each year, I hire about 12 extremely qualified individuals from outside the US. Of those, we get 25% through H1b, and of those who get through only another 50% can stay long enough to get the citizenship.

In reality, its about a 10% chance.

Luckily very few are even considering a path to citizenship or the wall when they go to vote unless you have some hardcore interest in these 2 things.

Most are concerned with jobs, taxes, how much Obamacare is costing me and my family, the national debt, etc...

A path to citizenship is something not many people care about in terms of it being a factor in choosing a president.

America's not dying it's just changing like it always has and always will, the genius of the founders wasn't in their rules it was in the way the set up a structure that could adapt and change as the country itself changed.

Yeah.

If he does win, all we've done is bought ourselves a few more years.

Most agree that a path to citizenship for high-quality workers need to be changed.
We are talking about the 1 million Spanish-speaking illegal immigrants with zero job skills that crossed the border in 2016.
