Just called in the sheriff to a polling place in Denton County

I'm working for the Republicans as a poll Watcher today. Just had to have a sheriff's deputy come out to one polling place.

The elections judge had put out signs that prohibited any electioneering and they were 500 feet away from the door. I went in and asked for the judge and told him that they had to be set to within 100 feet and no further away.

I was going to put out some Trump signs for the Republican Party while I was there. The guy was really pissed off and being a really belligerent jerk and calling me names. He asked who I was supporting. I showed him my registered poll watcher ID. He called me a son of a bitch, told me to go get a job, and that if I wanted the signs moved that I would have to move them myself. So being the son of a b**** that I am, I called the sheriff's office and have them dispatch a deputy.

The deputy arrives and asked for the judge. They talk for a minute and the judge walks out with him, walks out to the signs and pulls them all up, then comes back in and demands that I accompany him to measure where they are supposed to go. He is bitching and being a real a-hole the entire time. The deputy just smiles and he looked at the deputy and said, "You think this is funny? I've been an election judge for ten years and nobody comes and challenges me at my poll!"

So anyway, we measured out 100',then he put out the signs at that point. Tells me to get a job again, and I just looked at him and said, "I just did my job. Thank you." Then I walked out to my car, pulled out two Trump signs and put them out.

I'm standing inside the poll now and just got off the phone with the county elections and the GOP headquarters. They're sending someone out to "talk to him."

He's really giving me the evil eye stare as I write this.
