I think he'd kick arse as a FEMA director. Other than that, i have no use for him.

I know you Louisiana baws don't care for him too much, but I kinda like the guy.

he was kinda caught between a rock & a policy hard place

would never consider raising taxes so when the economy collapsed (inc. oil & gas), his literally (as in by Louisiana law) only 2 options were cut funding for higher ed and health care

but a lot of people started to hate him b/c he was NEVER in the state during much of his 2nd term as Gov., always out campaigning for his presidential aspirations

Only in BJ's dreams. President Trump won't have anything to do with that clown.

He did well until he decided to throw LA's economy under the bus to adhere to some assclown in Washington. He lacks leadership skills, but he is a very good policy instincts. He would be a very good advisor.

Jindal has experience with Health & Human Services, does he not?
He was the under secretary reporting to Thompson at the time in DC. Jindal screwed up the DHH in Louisiana, was identified as a wonder boy by whoever was the Governor at the time (his town is off of Hwy 90 around Baldwin and those places), went to DC and make a mess of what were his responsibilities, came back and screwed up Louisiana as Governor.

Trump, you place this dude anywhere near your Presidency it will go along with my idea to change my Republican status and vote fricking Al Queda if I have to in the next election.

HHS is a good place for him. I have always considered Bonby to be a highly competent administrator, but a mediocre politician.

You are kidding right? Ask the hospitals and physicians in the state of Louisiana their thoughts of him when he ran DHH. He could totally screw up a whore house made up of nothing but 10's

HHS secretary, maybe. He'd be good in a wonk/policy role, not in a governing role.

Hell naw! Ben Carson is f**king perfect for HHS and he is the obvious choice.

Leave HHS to Carson. Jindal needs to get a job in the real world instead of becoming a career bureaucrat.

Consider who Hillary had in her inner circle. The names Al Sharpton & Loretta Lynch ring a bell? Huma?

Why? This is terrible. Anyone with any knowledge of healthcare in LA thought he did a terrible job as DHH Secretary. The Charity to private conversion was lousy as well. His administration was notorious for inside contracts for connected people.

Besides, he sat on his hands like a sore loser once he FINALLY realized no one gave two shits what he pontificated about in editorials and instead cared more about his practical work as governor. He needs to go away and learn about real life, not another BS govt job where he can grandstand.

Ask Baton Rouge General (and LSU Health for that matter) what they think about Jindal's approach to the hospital system in our state.

Throwing this out there- the public-private merger was utterly brilliant and is a long-term plus for the state. Somewhere between Our Lady of the Lake and the Capitol, something got funny. The contract they landed was just utterly stupid with BRG taking an enormous hit because of it. But for every other public-private merger that happened, the state came out a winner with no real loser.
If you want to say there's something corrupt between leadership at The Lake and LA Government, I'll buy it. But please share another example of a negative of the merger in any of the other formerly state run hospitals- I genuinely think they worked out for the better.

ETA- I'm an LSUHSC employee.

Outside of Baton Rouge, please explain where there were problems and how.
