Saw it last-night in theaters. Pretty solid movie overall. There was some great fight choreography. The bus scene was amazing.
Had some funny parts as well. "The monkeys weren't actually riding the horses, they were acting"
I feel like they were very vague about the actual rings. They didn't fully describe the power, or how does one utilize it. My guess is this was intentional. With the post credit scene and the appearance of Banner(I'm assuming Hulk/Professor Hulk is officially retired) and Marvel, the rings will play a much bigger part of the story going forward.
The Ta Lo village was giving me Avatar vibes, they were definitely airbenders.

This is a really great analogy. I didn’t know what to expect with this one but really dug it and excited to see more of Shang-Chi in the bigger picture now. Glad they did the Mandarin justice with a complex and layered villain, one of Marvel’s best imo. The fight choreography was also top notch right from the jump, perhaps the best in the entire MCU. I’d have it too 10-15 for sure which I had not expected.
The battle at the end just confirmed what I’ve known for awhile - you cannot convince me a live action DBZ franchise done right wouldn’t be a banger.
