1. It is straight up better fried chicken...better chicken, better crust, better seasoning
These three are not true at all

Thanks for reminding me about KK. It's been a long time since I've had some of their chicken and I need a substitute now that I'm currently on a Popeyes strike after my last few visits.
A couple months ago I had figured I could try ordering delivery through the Popeyes app while I was working from home. Multiple times the restaurant straight up canceled my order or said they were closed when they weren't.
Then I tried to order the new nuggets on the app and go pick it up, figuring I could bypass the drive thru line. Only to get there and see that the inside is closed, even for online orders. I saw an employee standing outside so I rolled down my window to ask if there was a spot to pick up online orders. She waved me off and just walked away. So I had to wait in the street for 45 minutes since I already paid and my food was already made and just getting cold by now. Only to get up to the speaker and for them to tell me "the whole system is down". Wtf? Why is the line moving so slow then? Why don't you have someone in the drive thru line telling people before they line up? Straight up incompetence. When I asked what do I do since I already paid, they told me to pull up. I showed my receipt and they remade my order. Only for me to eat these bland arse nuggets with absolutely no seasoning. Total disappointment. No food is worth that.

Sothern Classic, and it's sister corporation, Chick a Dilly, are fried chicken joints with locations with roots in northern La and southern Ark. Their chicken is fantastic.

The attitude from the Popeyes employee is part of what makes it so good.

Krispy Krunchy is good chicken, and quite honestly, I definitely prefer their tenders over Chick Fil A (if the KK tenders are fresh), Popeyes (whose tenders never taste fresh) and overrated Canes.
However, I still prefer Popeye's bone-in chicken.
The best way to enjoy KK also is usually getting there just as lunch time (11am) is about to start. With them being in gas stations usually, alot of times huge batches are cooked ahead of time and sit under the glass cases for hours.
Show up at the Krispy Krunchy at the Anahuac, TX exit on I-10 at 10:58am. Get you some tenders and fried okra. One of the best fast food combos you'll ever enjoy.
The fried catfish at KK is pretty good too, again, especially if you can get it fresh.

Outside of Louisiana Popeyes employees aren't so bad
Their location in the heart of Sugar Land, right off US 59, is some of the best fast food customer service. The line won't move as fast as Chick Fil A, but it certainly moves on par or better than other fast food chains (and obviously better than 99% of other Popeyes establishments).
Staff is always friendly, can't remember them ever messing up an order, and chicken fresh. It's my go-to for Popeyes in the area.
However, there is another Popeyes location right on the outskirts of Sugar Land, off Grand Parkway. Some of the worst employees (both in urgency and attitude), food takes forever, and the inside of the place is disgusting. Two tries (because I was hoping the first time was "off") is all it's taken for me to never return, and it's actually the closest one for me from home.

That depends on which Popeyes outside of La. you patronize.

I will say the new Popeye’s nuggets do indeed suck. They suck balls.

I’ve never even heard of Krispy Krunch before but I’m happy to be a judge in this competition.

I've never had KFC popcorn chicken, but the popcorn chicken from Sonic, and if fact all food from Sonic other than hot dogs and tots, are well below average in my opinion.
So for me, Popeye's nuggets is WAY better than Sonic.

Popeyes is my favorite fast food, although I don't eat it much. The best Popeyes ( service and food ), have been in areas with higher Hispanic populations and Hispanic Popeyes workers.

It’s gas station chicken. Good for what it is but I definitely prefer Popeyes

I live in the woodlands and the Popeyes here is extremely quick. I have to say coming from LA it was a sight to see a Popeyes that moved quick and had employees similar to chick fila.
The only down side is they overcook the biscuits sometimes and they end up dried out.

By themselves, they're pretty bland, I wish they were available in spicy but if you sprinkle that Cajun Sparkle stuff on them, they're pretty good.
