The Obama DOJ investigated Flynn bc he called Russia post election and advised to not take the Obama sanctions as a threat and that Trump would work with them. They coerced a guilty plea for allegedly providing false or misleading statements during the investigation and ruined him.
Milley contacts a Chinese general after the election to tell him not to worry, he will tip him off if Trump decides to attack. Who knows what else said or who else he called.
If one is a crime , so is the other. Pretty simple

correct. They can ignore it all they want, but its actually worse. Flynn was speaking on behalf of an incoming administration and how they might handle diplomatic relations in the future while Milley was agreeing to aid China against his own sitting commander in a hot war.

One huge difference: Flynn was a private citizen. Milley is a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Actively undermining his Commander in Chief.

My understanding is that at the time of the call Milley was only an Advisor to the President and had no official powers.
