Man.. Kira doesn't look like he got any bigger. I hope he got a lot stronger than he showed last season.

I think he can look similar to the way he did his rookie year and still add strength, bb iq and a floater.

The last summer league games were pretty fun to watch. Looking forward to these.

@GriffinPresser

Trey Murphy and Herb Jones joined our team today and seamlessly integrated themselves into the unit we already had practicing in Las Vegas. And, beyond that, they brought with them a tapestry of experience, effort, and enthusiasm that will permeate for years to come.

Kira seems more solid in his base definitely can tell he’s been putting in the work. He’ll be fine, should get the chance to run more this year.

That twitter account is the only thing that's made these past few days bearable.

I feel like he definitely gained some weight. He's never going to be big but he looks more filled out to me. More importantly his release looks much quicker and his shot looks alot smoother. He's got big time 6th man potential

Didi said one his focuses this offseason has been his shooting. Said he’s been working with Fred Vinson on his shot.

Said he’s excited to show off his new shot “and get some buckets.”

I never have understood the concern over enough Vinson to go around. Even if Vinson is just available for 40 hrs a week, that gives enough time for each player to have a few hrs each week.
I tend to think the Hart comments were in jest

You can watch the YouTube. They weren’t in jest. Not sure why this became(and continues) to be a thing for people???

We had about a two week offseason and condensed training camp, Vinson was already working with Zion, BI, and Lonzo before and after practice and in special sessions. And was taking on expanded roles as he moved up the coaching chain. Covid protocols also meant you couldn’t just go meet up and do shootarounds. Everything had a very rigorous process that has to be followed.

I’m not sure why people get so caught up on weird things like this. Hart wanted significant Vinson time to rebuild his shot, Vinson didn’t really have the open room to really allow the attention they thought would be required to rebuild his shot from the ground up last offseason according to Hart, so they shelved it for the time being, end of story.

If Hart comes back that’s probably not the case anymore now that we, you know, have time and less restrictions.

I agree. I do not believe at all that Vinson told him he did not have time for him. Also, Hart likes to joke around a lot.

I don’t believe reality and refuse to seek out the proper context that could clarify it. Instead I will substitute in what I want to be true because my feelings tell me

Do you all listen to yourselves??

This is what has me excited:

That really does.

Didn’t think Mike D’Antoni would actually be taking that type of hands on role.

Really expected him to just be a guy coming in to sit in on a couple practices from the sidelines, gives some notes and guidelines, then fly back out to wherever he lives.

Good to see him actually getting in the thick of things.

Say what you want about D’Antoni but the guy is one of the best minds in basketball in the last 25 years, arguably amongst the greatest ever. And unlike a lot of them he continues to evolve. As we saw just recently with his innovative way to actually make Russ and Harden work by removing all big men and letting Russ occupy that space. Very interested to see if he has some interesting ideas about Zion at point. And how to build a offense around that skill

The terms of the deal they mentioned is he'd be hands on early installing the offense and then during the season he'll be on site some, but mostly remote. That's all you really need from him once the offense is installed though.

That’s good to know, but even then, impressive to see that extending to Summer League.

Would have probably expected some sit ins during actual training camp, but great to see him and Willie out there so hands on even in Summer League.

Yes he’s going to be active in Summer League and training camp. That’s his role.

After that he will come in periodically and be available remotely
