Weak Uncle Joe has no idea what he’s doing by acting like he has a stick with Russia! This is the new norm, and remember Russia hates Biden. He’s meddled in Ukraine causing further corruption on Putin’s border, he’s Called Putin a killer, his party made Russia to be the culprit in a made up scheme after the 2016 election. Now Putin is going for the kill. The extent of the cyberattack is yet to be known, but the colonial pipeline supplies 100% of the jet fuel for all east coast airports. This is a HUGE DEAL!

shite like this makes autonomous vehicles seem like a huge national security issue. Imagine driverless trucks and a hack shuts down the National transportation infrastructure for days or weeks?

Top U.S. fuel pipeline operator Colonial Pipeline has shut its entire network, the source of nearly half of the U.S. East Coast's fuel supply, after a cyber attack that industry sources said was caused by ransomware.
The company transports 2.5 million barrels per day of gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and other refined products through 5,500 miles (8,850 km) of pipelines linking refiners on the Gulf Coast to the eastern and southern United States.
Colonial shut down systems to contain the threat after learning of the attack on Friday, it said in a statement. That action has temporarily halted operations and affected some of its IT systems, the company said.
While the U.S. government investigation is in its early stages, one former U.S. government official and two industry sources said the hackers are most likely a highly professional cybercriminal group. Investigators are looking into whether a group dubbed "DarkSide" by the cybersecurity research community is responsible, the former government official said.
DarkSide is known for deploying ransomware and extorting victims, while selectively avoiding targets in post-Soviet states.
The malicious software used in the attack was ransomware, two cybersecurity industry sources familiar with the matter said. Ransomware is a type of malware that is designed to lock down systems by encrypting data and demanding payment to regain access. The malware has grown in popularity over the last five years.
Colonial has engaged a third-party cybersecurity firm to launch an investigation and contacted law enforcement and other federal agencies, it said.
Cybersecurity company FireEye (FEYE.O) has been brought in to respond to the attack, the cybersecurity industry sources said. FireEye declined to comment when asked if it was working on the incident.
The U.S. Transportation Security Administration told Reuters it is working with other agencies on the situation.
Colonial did not give further details or say for how long its pipelines would be shut.

Well what you're talking about seems to be a best case scenario in which they're just rendered inoperable
Imagine a scenario where they're all hacked to go full throttle instead

So should we all tank up this weekend?
Posted on 5/8/21 at 3:57 pm to TDFreak
Definitely Gas Up. Depending on the scope of this attack it’s possible the pipeline could be shut for an extended period of time. The other side effect is refineries in Texas and Louisiana will have to halt production since the distribution system is currently down.

What about the hack scenario where there are massive simultaneous crashes?

Here comes the part where Biden* is going to ask white domestic terrorists (white males) to go overseas and die for him.

That's why I don't care if they fill the ranks with trannies and such. Let them die for oil.
