list to go back. They have a 6 course Omakase or a 10 course, but we decided to just tell the server what style of food we like to eat and let him decide. We told him we will let him know when we are ready to tap out.

In total, we had 14 courses brought to the table forg the 2 of us. I tapped out at 9, unfortunately.

The 10 course deal at uchi is a awesome dining experience. I am way too overwhelmed by their menu to not let them pick for me

wife and I finally did Rosie, it’s a good spot. Some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever had.

LL, how was that Gigondas at GJ? Had a 17 from Bouissiere last night that was outstanding. Not that familar with Rhones but interested in trying more.

Was really great. Was going towards my usual Cabernet route and glad we didn’t do it first.

Followed it up with 2017 Frog’s Leap Estate Grown which was also enjoyable.

Very Nice.

For nice and a tad more laid back check out:

Eugene's Gulf Coast Cuisine - relocated Danton's
Raw oysters happy hours M-Th

Paulie's
Bucatini Puttanesca
Rigatoni Bolognese

Patio Bar / Pit Room - the old Jackson Watering Hole
Crawfish (weekends I think)
We said we would NEVER eat crawfish with anything on them. We caved.
Spicy AF and dam good.

All the food looks amazing. Looks like a great weekend of eating, drinking, and having fun. I’m jealous.

How much did y’all wind up spending?

I’m more excited now because all these places are near the Natural Science Museum and Zoo, which the trip will be centered around. Going to pretty much copy you, LL. Thanks for this!

The Natural Science Museum and Zoo are what we did the trip before this one, and I wish we had done then again. We spent a solid 6 hours at the science museum.
