I tested positive on 12/28. I’m 39, and I have a blood condition that was discovered 5 years ago after a pulmonary embolism. I’m was at about 80% lung capacity before my COVID diagnosis and I’m at risk for additional blood clots.

My fatigue still gets me 2+ weeks after I was allowed out of self quarantine. Kept my smell and taste the whole time. Coughed so much my chest hurt. No pneumonia though. Had some weird dreams and woke up 5-7 times each night for no apparent reason. No blood clots though.

I have done some cardio. Jogged 5 miles on Saturday and coughed a bunch more. Needed a nap soon thereafter. Going to the gym for strength training in the afternoons after work and I come home, eat some food and usually crash right after. No more weird dreams and my sleep schedule is still a little longer than normal, due to crashing earlier in the evening.

I’m sorry to see that your dad is having a rough go of it. May the doctors and nurses utilize their skills and knowledge to lead him out of this safely.

Eh, kinda. I can tell if something is spicy, salty, sweet, sour, etc. If I know what something is supposed to taste like, then I can kind of taste them. If it's something I've never had, then I can't taste a thing. I've been drinking the shite out of ginger ale because that seems to have a good, strong flavor to it.

KCT is a poster .. not sure which board he frequents the most BUT he's been on the poli board.

His dad just came home about a week ago from the hospital .. I "think" he was on a vent or close to needing one. Maybe search his name in the search by author box and chat with him if you can find a post from him.

I had Covid in early November with double pneumonia and spent 6 days in the hospital on oxygen along with other meds. I have oxygen machine at house and on it until about 3 weeks ago. Just starting to feel back to normal. I am 47 years old with no preexisting conditions in relative good health.

A runny nose

Odd that people downvoted you for what I assume is just an honest answer. I guess we can have only bad outcomes on here.

I was exposed Dec 27. Tested positive Jan 6. Three nights of stuffy nose treated with nasal spray. Three days of no smell around same time. No cough. No fever. No GI issues. No headache. 46, Stage 4 lymphoma survivor.

It is truly crazy the disparity in outcomes even among the relatively healthy/young. But that's my story. I have run hills with a jogging stroller, 8 miles so far this week in cold with no issues. Increasing mileage once rain clears up.

They told me I had some slight short term memory problems. I don't think they're right.

But since you're asking, they told me I had some slight short term memory problems.

Both parents had it, late 60s
Both spent time hospital
Dad is fine now mom is ok at best.

Had an uncle die from it.
Had 4 other personal familyfriends that are older spend substantial times in hospital , two we didn’t think were gonna make it.
They’ve all managed to come home and doing better.

Me: Really high fever for a couple of days. Loss of appetite. Lost 12 pounds. Bed drenching night sweats for about 3 nights in a row. Then pretty much back to normal after about day 4 or so, other than fatigue. Also, couldn't exercise properly for a couple of weeks. Got winded really easily. All back to normal now.

Wife and kids: Didn't miss a step. They were around me, never really quarantined because we thought we'd just get it over with all in one fell swoop. They never even had so much as a single cough.

But hey... at least I have the antibodies and the Tiger blood now.

I'm just getting to 14 days after initial symptoms. I'm 32 and about 50 pounds overweight. I didn't get a severe case, but it hasn't been fun. No fever at any point. Cold all of the time, miserable cold down to my bones, wearing a jacket all of the time. My O2 only dropped to an average of 96 for a few days. Sinus congestion, coughing, and fatigue. For me personally the fatigue was by far the worst part. I'm talking falling asleep at the table during breakfast or lunch, napping for hours on the couch, totally out cold, while my toddler is hooping and hollering while playing, etc. It's very unlike me, I rarely nap and if I do it's a 10 minute nap where I barely fall asleep at all.

I still have a mild cough and can't smell anything. My sense of taste is coming back, slowly. I can taste some things just a little bit, but seems like every couple of days a little more comes back.

I haven't tried a serious workout yet because I'm pretty sure it won't end well. Just started going for walks again and they're fine. About 1 week in I couldn't even walk around my yard without a coughing attack so that's a good improvement.

This virus is so odd. My wife tested positive but is asymptomatic except for not being able to smell some things. My son (2 years old) ran a mild fever for about a week straight.

Almost a month later and I still can't smell. I have kind of gotten used to it. I can walk in the bathroom at work right after someone blows it up and it doesn't affect me at all. It's kind of like a budget brand super power. I'd still like my smell back, though.

Same. Had a mild fever, nothing else. A week later smell disappeared. Been a little over 5 weeks now and still hasn’t come back.

I don't mind the not smelling, especially since we're potty training my son, but not tasting really freaking sucks

Hope your parents make a full recovery.

I had a few days of 103 fever and severe body aches. But the worst part was the sore throat. Was like strep times 100.

Cardio is still shot nearly 4 weeks later and I get fatigued around 5 or 6 every evening but I’m otherwise recovered.

I’m 51 and in pretty decent shape.
