Print a copy of his loan information and send it to him with your bill

Nothing shady at all about the businesses with exactly 500 employees listed

The first one that caught my eye was DBMC Restaurants.
Don't get me wrong. They absolutely deserve the help.
But they have more than 500 employees from La to Florida.

How's that work? Can they just cap it at 500 tax IDs(SSNs) they provide?

My friends X wife and her F buddie - They took between 350k -1 million stating they have 25 employees which is horse shite. This money will go to pay for her $500,000 home and the new escalade the boyfriend bought her, oh and her new tits/plastic surgery.

The only way they could have done that was to submit false employment numbers and payrolls. SBA has said they will criminally prosecute fraud. If you have a problem with it, then snitch them out.

Doesn't bother me. I have no shame about it. We needed it and took it. I've been open with my employees about it.

I find the uproar comical...particularly when it’s obvious some of those complaining have zero clue what is going on...to the point that they claim “plenty have missed out”.

If they did...it’s because they are asleep at the wheel.

I found it to be small businesses that were not operating within the parameters of the law aka paying employees cash, not paying taxes, etc.

Where they got the hit wasn’t on paying teachers, it was on some parents saying “frick it”, and they quit paying tuition because the schools wouldn’t stay open.

This isn't how it works at all. For this past year, I had signed a contract in February 2019 for the 2019-2020 school year and the tuition was paid in June 2019. The parents paying monthly did so with a bank loan. The school got 100% of their money, closed the doors, got government money, and refused to refund/credit a penny of tuition. This is pretty fricked up.

Private schools that didn't refund tuition should be ashamed for taking money.

This. And sadly it's just about every school I know. I knew something was up b/c I haven't seen a fundraising email since March. Private schools never stop sticking their hand out. The fact that they aren't asking for money means they made out like a damn bandit.

Not all schools do the 100% upfront deal. Many private schools do monthly payments not secured through banks. Even those that are secured through “banks” aren’t actually secured through a bank at all. It is a lending company that will charge back the school of the parent doesn’t pay (yes, there may be some that are actually through a real bank. Not everything is always true). The school sets the parameters on how hard the lending company will go after a non-payer. In addition, the lending companies pay the school monthly in many cases, and only pay what they receive. There’s a lot more to this than what many folks think actually goes on.

What school received 100% of their money, closed the doors and didn’t do distance learning, received federal money, and didn’t refund anything?

I assumed it would. It's bullshite that they hid those under $150k. It's our money, w...

Well, technically, since I effectively got a free $1.2m, it's y'all's money, and you should definitely know where it went.

Whenever the bonuses and distributions go out, I'll show you guys that I didn't waste it.

Lime green looks sick to me.

Was it closed down? People not able to go to water parks?

Isn’t this to help with payroll? Pretty sure they didn’t have to hire people to keep the business going.

I believe there was a special provision included in the law that allows restaurants to consider each individual location a separate entity for purposes of PPP.

I'm going to say no since some small businesses struggled when ACA came about. Just say that 150k is just a here you go for fricking you over.

And let's not forget all these businesses have been paying into unemployment already and continue to.

late to reply, but... because I know many business owners in various industries and CPA’s who serve in various industries, mostly small-mid size businesses.

Employees are not required to receive a PPP loan. Self employment income is eligible as well.
what are you even talking about employees are not required to receive PPP? I don’t think you have any idea how this works.
