I know Discovery ID already covered this, but I thought the first episode was compelling enough. Two main takeaways: Jennings south is a shithole. second, it never ceases to amaze me how people can fail to take responsibility for their lifestyle.

The wife and I are watching it. Lot of poor trash with no education or motivation to break the cycle of drugs/poverty.

I lived in Lake Charles around the time of these murders so I vaguely remember some reporting about it.

and I'm good with that. They can live as they choose. But I get annoyed with the "no one cares about us" mentality. Especially when speaking of the affluent North side of the tracks.

Damn these people are cracked out. The one girl’s dad was banging all of her friends for free drugs.

Halfway through the first episode. Depicts south Louisiana as a place filled with culture, booming entertainment and a lot of smart people.

yeah, I notice there is never a special series or stand alone documentary highlighting Louisiana's academic achievements or thriving entrepreneurial endeavors.

but crack whores? We have plenty of those.

The Boudreaux Hotel looks like it was the place to be in Jennings.

Tried to but the level of skank was too rich for my sensibilities.

Outstanding, once you get past the first episode and a half, which is mainly the story we’ve all heard through the news, it gets really interesting.

Did anyone catch the finale? This was a well done doc. They dug in fairly deep and it was an interesting watch. Thoughts? This case intrigues me.

As trashy and as horrible Frankie a Richard was, he seemed to me like he was telling the truth.
Also, it looked liked every time they interviewed him, he aged 47 years.

It was fascinating. BTW, regardless of bad choices, none of those girls deserved to be killed and dumped in a ditch. Law enforcement was up to its neck with corruption, undoubtedly.
