This guy would’ve been kicked off the team for failed drug tests before he ever saw a meaningful snap at LSU. Thankfully for him he went to Alabama, where they just sweep those under the rug.

This is not true. Harris refused to workout for LSU, I assume at a camp or something because you cannot make recruits “tryout”

But nonetheless since he did not want to honor their request LSU moved on. Bama came on late in the cycle as you will remember Harris was committed to aTm. So they flipped him from the Aggies

Cam and Collins only ones. D Smith would have at least Chase and Jefferson and Marshall ahead of him on depth chart. We are find at WR without him. Chris Allen...meh nah. What we have is equivalent if not better.

I remember after the early signing day Ed saying we got all the players in LA that we offered. And Harris signed with Bama.

Moses world class pile jumper. Very rarely made any plays but man he sure could jump on that pile and then strut.

I'm gonna be honest... if I went to highschool on LSU's campus and didnt grow up a HUGE LSU fan(like my parents weren't big fans of LSU.).. I'd probably want to go try something else too

So what are you saying here, you don't pull for bama unless they are playing LSU?

He worded his statement awkwardly

quote:

My wife and in-laws don't understand why I don't pull for Bama outside of the LSU game

I reread it a couple of times. Pretty sure he meant they want to know he doesn't pull for Alabama when the are not playing LSU.

Harris was barely recruited by LSU.

This is true. Not sure he was even offered.

This article is a joke.

I work with Christian’s dad and he’s supposedly told people at work that LSU wanted him as a tight end. Not sure how true that is but I will ask his dad next time I see him. Have never talked football with him before but I would like to know the full story as to what sent Christian to Bama.

Probably a good thing to get Gordon and these stud athletes away from u high now. New prez, coach, Gordon’s kid graduating, academic changes. I don’t think U high will keep producing talent much longer.

To be fair. Moses is a beast. And one of the best in the Sec. Phillips was a great consolation and is a great Lber but he’s not Moses.

Correct. You rarely see Phillips tapping the pile, he’s usually IN the pile.

Got Brosette and Brumfield and getting Roy this year. Of last years UHIGH grads LSU only recruited 2, Harris and Mike Hollis, Harris is a good kid, he was committed to Aggies for a while until Saban got more aggressive closer to signing day. Was told LSU asked him to come to camp as a linebacker and at that time he didn’t want to play lb. Hollis was offered relative to Emory, once Emory committed he went to Virginia, he is having a good freshman season

Yea Harris was recruited as a H back/TE and never was heavily into LSU and vice versa. We can't take everyone some will always have to go elsewhere.
