AL.com

My wife and in-laws don't understand why I don't pull for Bama outside of the LSU game and I point to this shite.

quote:

Harris is the third high-profile defender from U-High Baton Rouge to play for Alabama

They take pride in getting recruits out of Louisiana...

...and what’s common is that they are driving a Dodge soon after

Getting recruits out of LA is one thing but this is another

quote:

The high school is on LSU’s campus.

That’s the craziest thing about all of this.

Alabama freshman inside linebacker Christian Harris isn’t just from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Harris went to a high school under the LSU umbrella, and on LSU’s campus.

I came away from that article with two things:

1. A headache
2. Confusion as to how this guy is actually paid for his writing

I get that it's an Alabama site but Jesus Christ

Harris was barely recruited by LSU. Same with Tim Williams. Moses transferred to IMG. So you could say LSU didn’t lose any players from UHigh.

We recruited Williams very hard most of his cycle. We dialed back the last month or 2. For most of the cycle he was a priority. Doesnt matter in the long haul because none are irreplaceable as weve shown. Only LA kid they got that really mattered at this point is Cam Robinson. We shall see about the DL guys the past 3 cycles

So what are you saying here, you don't pull for bama unless they are playing LSU?

Well, they like to brag about saban coming into Louisiana and getting some of our high profile players. I guess they are too stupid to realize what they are really saying is bama wouldn't be winning if they didn't get our players.
It's all good, O gonna fix this shite, he gonna flip-da-script!!!

I mean Landon Collins was pretty good. Devonta Smith, Chris Allen would be playing a lot Saturday for LSU.

Aranda did not want Harris for some reason.

Tim is a freak athlete, but didn’t apply himself in HS. Didn’t participate regularly in the off season weight program and workouts and rarely applied himself in practice and even sometimes in games. Les knew this, he was at every one of his games because Manny was on the team. Dylan was also a freak athlete, but was never as good as his Daddy promoted him to be.

Harris never wanted to go to LSU. Hard to miss on a guy who was never interested.

I mean, that really pisses you off?

Pretty easy to see why some kids would love LSU and others would like a change of scenery for college. I didn't want to go to college in the same city I grew up in.

To be fair to LSU those players wanted to get away from LSU and play somewhere that wasn't in their own backyard. Being close to LSU actually hurt them in those instances.

Tim Williams would have never made it through LSU's compliance department. His failed drug tests at Alabama are widely known about.

Did we even offer Harris? I don't think we did.

IIRC we had Donte Starks ahead of Harris, at least Arnada did.
