I worked in high school on the grounds crew at a baseball complex. I’d drag the infield dirt and sod the outfield grass.

This was going to be my answer also. This was my HS job. Driving around on a John Deere gator and dipping the whole time.
Harambe did you work up in Knox?

In high school I bailed hay and pushed a crawfish boat working crawfish fields for a percentage of what I was catching. I’ll take that crawfish boat over the bailing hay shite any day. That hay really sucks balls.

my first summer out of high school i worked for Acadia ambulance's motor pool. they had several shops behind their main office. Back then they used to build all of the trucks in house, buy that i mean buy the cab from a local dealer and the box from a place in Alabama. we did everything from wiring to painting. now i think all they use is the newer uni body vans. it was hot and miserable work at times but i had fun and made a few friends. me and a guy my age would have burn out competitions with the trucks with no beds on them in the back.

I was a helper to both welders and pipe fitters.

The stereotypes are true but they were pretty cool. That job did however keep me in college.
