I lurked and completed the 30-day 10k push up challenge and loved it. I'd love to keep this going and start a burpee challenge.

Goal is 5000 in 30-days
166 a day

Style of Burpee I'm referring too.

My log Day 1

Day 1 was a bitch. Did 20 at a time throughout the day.

That's about 10 an hour, every waking hour. Seems manageable with some self discipline. It would sure benefit me to get up from my desk and move around every hour.

If you want to maximize those burpees, do as many as you can in a 20 minute window with no more than 60 seconds in between sets. Doing them spread throughout the day will give you some benefit, but using them for a hiit cardio session will melt the fat.

I'd rather chew my own arm off than do a burpee. They are misery.

I did the Spartan race Saturday in the Texas hill country outside of Austin, it was wet from rain so I failed a ton of the obstacles, ended up doing 210 burpees on top of the 8 mile run.

Today I felt like I got ran over by a Mac truck.

Interesting. May do this to change up the routine and do it outside to get a good lather going.

I did the same race on Saturday. I failed 5 obstacles and finished with 150 burpees. My buddy failed about 8-9. He looked miserable from all the burpees.

I got 1,500ish (8 days) in and stoppped. I was doing it on top of my normal training and my body started to break down. My core and all the muscles used to decelerate were done by day 5-6. We started with 5 people in our group and we have all stopped. It’s doable if you don’t enjoy or want to do any other medium to high intensity training in addition... or if you’re just alpha- which this made me realize I am not.
