CJ Anderson the latest to show that a running back is only as good as its o-line.

Sure, Gurley is the better player but why would you pay a king's ransom for a RB when that money can go elsewhere to positions with longer lifespans?

To be fair, CJ Anderson rushed for 299 yards in the final 2 games.

He's now rushed for 3 straight 100 hard games including playoffs.

If it's anything, your rb you're paying better be multidimensional because a one trick pony isn't worth it.

Exactly which is why Gurley deserved what he got. The Rams are not where they are today without Todd Gurley.

By this reasoning, you shouldn’t pay QBs big money either bc look at what Nick Foles is doing.

Kickers should be the only players with 8 figure salaries. Perhaps the Bears would still be alive.

Its actually been 3 games

And the chiefs have been great running the ball without Hunt as well

And the Steelers didn’t miss a beat without bell in their running game

Its not just about running the football, it's about what certain RBs bring to the table running the ball & IN THE PASS GAME.

None of the backs by committee for KC gives them what Hunt provided as a pass catcher.

Same goes for James Connor with the Steelers which is one of the biggest reasons Pitt is watching the playoffs from home.

Agreed to an extent. Bark and Gurley are next level elite and worth a good payday. Id rather an elite RB than receiver cost I think. Receivers seem to be bigger drama queens as well and rely on a great QB either way. Elite RB makes fifty percent or more of your offensive game plan better instantly. Good line and RB means game over.
