I wonder if Austin Bain has changed Maineri’s mind on using some of these stud pitchers that are great two way players in high school for playing the field, hitting, and pitching. Maineri has seemed to hate having his pitchers hit prior to this season.

I can't wait to see Storz step in the box if he ever gets healthy. Kid looks like he could hit it a country mile

Didn’t Maineri hold him up because he injured himself fouling a ball off his foot

They shelved the pitching for Caberra and I doubt he ever goes back to mound.
He will be a high pick next May since he will be a draft eligible soph

Just a quick update since y'all are wondering about Storz. I had a chance to talk to him yesterday and he said the plan is for him to see action against Ole Miss. He also said Paul wants him to be "fully healthy" before he starts playing both ways.

You would think with the scholarship and roster restrictions two way guys would be a hot commodity.

Didn’t he win a national HS home run derby?

He's been here for over a decade, and that's still not how it's spelled.
