Seems like Curry may be the best fit, but he doesn't arrive till Fall practice.

Provens looks like a gamer.

CEH looks legit, but big enough for QB protection on 1st and 2nd downs in 3-4 WR sets?

Lanard seems a reach, but does he have favor with the staff?

Does Brosette have favor as a SR?

What do ya'll think?

Will it be best man, or will Brosette be given the job to lose as Sr?

Brosette definitely has to figure big into the rotation at first, you have to think. What remains is what he does with those carries.

Brossette is going to rock out with his cock out. CEH is second punch. Provens gets 2-4 trick plays a game. Curry works his way into line up by end of the season.

I like Curry a lot. Seems like a bruiser. Gonna have to learn the offense in a hurry.

Bridgette doesn’t suck but I dont See this guy taking over any games. At least not be team north of 80 in Rush Defense rankings.

Brosette
CEH
Provens

That's your top three going into the season. Curry may come on late, but I don't see him cracking the depth chart in fall preseason.

yes me as well. He runs hard and while short, he is pretty stocky

Imo, Brossette just needs some touches which will bring more confidence. He can run the football pretty well, he isn't the state's all time leading rusher for nothing.

I think people are really sleeping on Nick. As long as he doesn't put the ball on the ground, I think you can expect very special things from the young man this year. He was no slouch recruit.

If Bridgett fumbles more I hope he doesn't have another episode of crying on the sideline

Honest question because I honestly can't remember, has Brossette had a meaningful carry in a game outside of Troy?

Nope and this is his upcoming senior season... let that sink in.

You need to define meaningful. He's had more carries than anyone else on the team.

Here are his game logs.

2015

OPP - ATT - YDS - AVG - LNG - TD
Auburn - 4 - 13 - 3.3 - 4 - 0
@Syracuse - 1 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 0
Eastern Michigan - 3 - 18 - 6 - 10 - 0
South Carolina - 1 - 6 - 6 - 6 - 0
Western Kentucky - 3 - 23 - 7.7 - 10 - 0

2016

OPP - ATT - YDS - AVG - LNG - TD
Jacksonville State - 5 - 40 - 8 - 18 - 0
Missouri - 5 - 73 - 14.6 - 60 - 0
@Arkansas - 5 - 32 - 6.4 - 16 - 0

2017

OPP - ATT - YDS - AVG - LNG - TD
Chattanooga - 11 - 63 - 5.7 - 15 - 0
Syracuse - 1 - 3 - 3 - 3 - 0
Troy - 1 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 0
Texas A&M - 6 - 25 - 4.2 - 10 - 0

Career - 46 - 306 - 6.7 - 60 - 0

He's had 2 fumbles, 1 lost in 46 rushing attempts.

For comparison to someone else with a low number of rushing attempts, DJ Chark rushed 24 times, 3 fumbles 2 lost

What do you call meaningful? How much did you expect him to see the ball behind Fournette, Guice and Williams for 2 years and then behind Guice and Williams last year?

He had twice the carries CEH did last year and averaged almost 2 YPC higher.

That's what I thought, but wasn't positive. That is kind of scary. Seems like if he was good enough to get any significant carries he would have last year when Guice was hurt.

So vs SEC opponents he has 21 carries for 149yds (7.1 ypc)

Not bad, but still such a small sample size we really don't know what to expect.

I wish Curry was an EE. I like his potential and I can see CEH doing well.

I imagine we are really going to spread carries around a lot in 2018.
