Of course he will
Joe Alleva is an out of towner who moved into a corrupt state and was taken for a ride by a Louisiana conman
It only makes sense that he makes Steve rich as frick on his way out
Ride for aranda 2019

That's why I stated in the original Post: "Word is that SE will get $1 million".
SE didn't want the job, but he'd take it for $1 million.

Wait a minute. Are you questioning Alleva's negotiating savvy? He's shrewdly out leveraging himself. He's like a guy playing chess on a Battleship game board.
Car salesmen love Alleva. He's the only guy who negotiates a deal ABOVE sticker price

Who even has a buyout clause in O's HC contract? Allevia should have placed a "Hold Harmless Clause" in O's contract; that is, O has to reimburse the university a portion of his contract if he screws up the football team. O makes a bad hire, then O pays part of the price.
As of now O would be reimbursing 50% of Canada's buyout.
You think O works things out with his new OC and gets along with him if he has such a buyout clause? He would have told Canada, you do what you need to do to win games.
We wouldn't be in this mess.

I get where the list comes from lol.
Wondering where you're hearing about this $1m salary for SE

Other threads that claimed the new OC would be SE also claimed that SE would NOT accept OC job unless he received $1 million because SE did not really want the job.
This is word on the street from those who said SE would be new OC.
