Remember that ridiculous sequence in 2010 where Bowen Brees was born and like 3 days later Brees threw 2 or 3 picks to a guy named David Bowen

Yeah, that was when Hillis randomly decided to be good for a season. Dunno where the hell that came from

I remember watching a game in the 1980s and the Saints were killing the Browns by 4 TDs. The Saints Running back who was doing great broke his leg right before half.

Saints could not move the ball in 2nd half and Browns came back and won late.

And when Scott Fujita had probably his only good game for the Browns. They also ran a trick play on a kick return for a TD. Still have to appreciate how hard they played us, especially in the context of what the Browns were and still are.

Their first win with Tim Couch was against us. Damn Mike Ditka.

The 99 Hail Mary was a scarring childhood experience.

We never did that well against the original Browns that moved to Baltimore. That I get- they were good in the 60’s and 80’s.

What I don’t get is how poor we’ve done against this new expansion Browns team.

I was at that disaster in the Superdome in 1999. I think it was on Halloween. Worst loss I’ve ever attended, aside from the 1983 regular season finale against the Rams.

The Saints were bad for a long time. They only have a winning record against 8 teams.

Jacksonville Jaguars 4-2-0 0.667
Buffalo Bills 7-4-0 0.636
Indianapolis Colts 8-5-0 0.615
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 32-20-0 0.615
New York Jets 7-6-0 0.538
Pittsburgh Steelers 8-7-0 0.533
Detroit Lions 13-12-1 0.519

Two Break even

Arizona Cardinals 15-15-0 0.5
Chicago Bears 15-15-0 0.5

ETA: forgot 3 teams we are .500 against.

Houston Texans 2-2-0 0.5
Miami Dolphins 6-6-0 0.5
Oakland Raiders 6-6-1 0.5

But, yeah, the Cleveland thing is kind of pathetic. Since the Browns left for Baltimore, the Saints are 1-5 vs the Ravens since 96 and 1-4 vs the Browns since 99.

As shocking as it is how much we have struggled against them, it really isn't that surprising when you consider how poorly our teams have faced against shitty QBs.

Crazy thing about the Hail Mary is the saints ran it again on the first day of practice he next week and the offense completed it.

We play Cleveland next year

Better not end their 3 season losing streak.
