That just goes to show, if he continues to develop a shot outside the paint he will be truly unstoppable.

When you are on the same list as those names, you are special. Hope the injuries are behind him and Zion can continue to ascend to becoming one of the league greats.

Imagine his numbers if the ref gave him an occasional foul call.

All of those states are just insane. This one stood out to me though:

quote:

Williamson has 42 career games with 20 points in the restricted area. No other player to debut over the last 25 seasons has done it 10 times through their first 100 career games.

It’s not just the points he would add from the free throws or the foul trouble it would generate. It changes the game when players know they are gonna get called for a foul if it’s close. Can’t be nearly as aggressive

To me it was funny he went all game with a foul called for him to shoot FT's and then at the end of the game, Zion extended his arm for what I thought was an offensive foul and they give us that call...

I thought for sure they were going to wave off the basket, at least waive the basket off before giving Zion a shot

i saw something last night to the effect that he has 2500 points in his 1st 100 games, and its him and MJ that have done that

edit:
quote:

Williamson (2,524) is the 12th player in NBA history with 2,500 points in his first 100 career games. He's the first player since Michael Jordan to accomplish the feat. The others to pull it off: Chamberlain, Walt Bellamy, Oscar Robertson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, George Mikan, Rick Barry, Elvin Hayes, Elgin Baylor, David Thompson and Billy Knight.

I'd like to see a stat of how many free throws per shot attempt he has in the paint compared to the rest of the league. I bet it would illustrate what shitty treatment he is receiving from the refs.

Zion hasn't Shaq's height and wingspan.
Zion must watch at Barkley.
