Recs for hiking daypack

Please give me some recs for a hiking daypack. I'd like a slimmer profile, lightweight pack that's roomy enough for the basics (water, snacks, socks, sunscreen etc)., not an overnight pack. Thanks!

I have a Kuiu Venture 2300 and love it. It’s too big for what you need but I imagine the smaller packs are just as good
Kuiu is a lightweight hunting company

I have the Gregory Nano 16. Don’t do a ton of hiking, but really like the bag.

Are you wanting a frame pack?
I have a Mystery Ranch Pintler and I love it. It's a bit large for day hiking, though. I've heard great things about their Coulee 25 which is about the perfect size for day hikes

No, I don't want a frame pack. Just a smallish pack for day hiking.

Yeah but the Ventures have an integrated frame pack that I don't think he wants. I linked a Divide 1200.
NVM, the Divide also has an integrated frame but I bet it would help a little and still be lightweight. It's less than 2lbs.

Something like the Osprey Daylite might be what you're looking for.

Anything Kuiu, Mystery Ranch or Eberlestock is solid
Even Deuter isn’t bad if you are not trying to drop crazy cash

I’d add kifaru and hill people gear to the above list.
I decided to give waymark a try a couple years ago and picked up their MILE. It’s been an awesome day pack.
I really like the roll top compartment with the stretch pocket on the outside vs something that zips like my kifaru and mystery ranch bags.

I use an Osprey Daylite or Evoc hip pack for shorter stuff…

depends on type and location of hiking you are wanting to do. If its just few hour hike in consistent good weather all you really need is water bladder, snacks, sunscreen go with light weight pack from nathan or salomon. but if hikes you are considering are in the mountains with difficult terrain, quickly changing weather you may need something a little larger for extra gear such as jacket, gloves, headlamp, etc..

I have a small osprey day pack as well. Light and holds a water bladder, enough room for essentials on a 2-8 hour hike
