Probably the exact thing that happened, except I would have rathered we murder the entire officiating crew instead of just finding their phone numbers on the internet and leaving some messages.

Is there supposed to be a but or what if to this qualifier, or you really meant it to be open ended.
if you could choose to have sex with Margot Robbie, no questions asked….

A flag would have been thrown and the game continue as it should have. I don’t want anything we don’t deserve and we deserved to see how it would have played out.

I don’t live in the past

I still get so angry when I think back on this game, and it's not even so much anger about the no call only.
It's that the greatest single sporting environment (pregame and during game) I have ever been to with a noise that I will never forget (I swear, I SAW the noise with how loud the Dome was) will forever be tarnished with an officiating blunder. Refs dictated the outcome and changed legacies, and the environment I remember so vividly seems to be outweighed by that.

That game wasn’t close to the loudest in dome history

The end of that game sucked the life out of the city. It was so quiet leaving the stadium.

I would choose for the refs to make the correct and honest call and we win the game and the Super Bowl. That was the worst call in the history of sports in terms of the obviousness of the call and the importance of the situation.

I don’t know if it had a single “loudest ever” moment, but, I’d put the consistency and length of noise during that game of any I’ve been too. And I haven’t missed many home games since 06.

It was loud but the Eagles playoff win the week before was louder. You had more wine and cheese crowd take a little of the insane noise out. That Eagles' playoff win was up there with 2009 NFC Championship and 2006 Falcons and Eagles playoff wins. 2000 Rams was also up there.

Well I've been to most of them and the first half of the Rams Championship game was definitely the loudest sustained noise I've ever heard in a Saints game. We were winning and the noise was noticeably affecting the Rams. When they started coming back the noise tapered off because most people went from noisy to nervously sitting on the edge of their seat

I am somewhat confused, assuming we are Saints fans since it is "Saints Talk" who the hell would not choose a Saints win?

PI flag called. 1st and 10 Saints. Three running plays or kneel downs to run the clock down, kick short FG. Super Bowl. I don't know how those (^$&$^&%$@^$^%^$^*&*(( referees got out of the stadium alive....I will NEVER understand how they got away with that, and why ??? There was never a more obvious PI, yet no flag came out. The AA ref who had his hand on the flag was a giant Mastadon Clitoris....

it was two fouls on the play
DPI and a personal foul with the illegal hit
they also missed the contact to brees face/helmet later that resulted in a INT. that whole game was the worst i have seen since LSU-auburn 2006.

This. I just want sports to be competition instead of entertainment.
