Is is true that Little Ben Shapiro would support red flag laws?

He would support them if he trusted the politicians imposing them?

I know there has been some Twitter words exchanged between Eric Swallowell and Little Ben concerning red flag laws and Swallowell saying that Ben would be a good candidate to confiscate guns. Thus Ben is against red flag laws.

However if Lindsey Graham and Mitt Romney were making the decision of who red flag laws would apply Ben would be okay with red flag laws.

I have not read/heard Ben's argument on this issue but listening to Styxhexhammer this morning this is basically the argument he made.

Without hearing Ben's side I tend to believe Styx because Ben has a long history of leaning hard establishment GOP. Afterall, major GOP donor and billionaire Paul Singer is Ben's puppet master.

Red flag laws will only be used to stop mass school shootings of children that would have happened but for red flag laws.

Red flag laws will never be abused by the government. They exist for a reason: to save children by keeping guns out of the hands of mass shooters. Red flag laws will never be used as a tool by government to target a responsible gun owner.

Literally google ben shapiro red flag laws and the top result is a tweet where he says he's not against them on principle but they wouldn't work today because our leadership would use it as a weapon against their opposition.

1) So without hearing Ben's side, you're going to post this crap.
2) Shapiro doesn't need, nor have a puppet master. His work is well known and followed by millions of people. He needs NOBODY to finance or control his work...the guy's a super star that annihilates everybody that tries to debate him.

In principle, most Democrat or liberal ideas are great. The problem is they get abused, because of our corrupt human nature, so in practice they don't work.

Leftists are basically Satanists, in the sense they worship themselves and other humans. So they see themselves as god like figures who can "do it the right way". How often do we hear, "well, socialism has never been done the right way". It will never be done the right way, because it will always be done by human beings who are flawed.

The Constitution recognizes human nature, therefor creates separations of powers, and competing interests, that will be forced to work together on shared interests. Where this all went wrong was as technology, communication, and transportation advanced, we became less divided by geographical boundaries and now most Americans see themselves in terms of this made up term "democracy", and we no longer believe in federalism or separation of the states.

That's why I framed the OP as a question. I just heard Styx's side.

I found my answer three post in and posted it in reply.

There is no doubt in my mind that Paul Singer shapes Ben's opinions. I'll admit, I agree with Ben 90% of the time but when it comes down to it he will side with the Mitt Romney side of the GOP way before he sides with the Rand Paul side of the GOP.

You didn‘t really expect the OP to do any research, did you?

The only red flag laws I support are those for people who are violent criminals or have threatened violence vs specific people.

I don't recall Ben ever having said this.

The reason I cannot support red flag laws is because I don't trust politicians in charge of enforcing them to do so properly and impartially.

That seems to be Ben's position, too. And this board's position, too, I might add.

Anything about "oh I would trust Mitt Romney and Lindsay Graham tho" is just a strawman argument Ben never made, correct me if I'm wrong, I missed a lot of his show after Uvalde while I was on vacation -- I didn't feel like listening to anything about murdered children while on vacation

He JUST got red-flag-gaslit by Beto.

He’s getting what he deserves if he wants red flags.

Throw the left a little bone to say they accomplished something.

If you do nothing and more mass school shootings continue the left has fodder to blame the GOP for.

Pass a few laws that won't do anything and when more shootings occur the GOP can say we told you so and let's focus on stronger enforcement of laws and punishments that includes judges and DA's that do nothing.

That's not a wide enough margin you've given yourself there. Let's drop Romney and add Susan Collins!

Wrong. Can't remember but it was either Walsh, crowder or Shapiro, I think crowder that reported a story of a new york physician getting reported on them because N unhappy patient did several false yelp reviews on him.
