For the glass half full people. We tied the team that spanked Mexico 3-0.

Well, to be fair, I have watched a lot of Uruguayan WCQ's and they started maybe 4 regulars. So this wasn't their top team as it wasn't ours. It was a shite match by both teams imo. If you think otherwise, cool.

Yeah, it was their B team with some starters. We are also missing several starters. They’re a very good team and we held our own.

xG was 1.13 to 1.60 in favor of Uruguay.

From Paul Carr:

USMNT is unbeaten in 25 straight home games (22 wins), the second-longest streak in team history and one shy of the team record.

U.S. home scoring streak is snapped at 24 games, tied for second-longest in team history.

I know that Scally is young, but I am not overly impressed with his play in the few times he has played with the USMNT thus far.

He will have to improve a lot in positioning and overall quality to make up for his average athleticism and speed, IMO.

If all are healthy, or actually called in, I think this is a no brainer 11. Bring in Aaronson as a super sub.

Chris Richards and Miles Robinson over Brooks and ARob.

ARob doesn’t have defensive prowess and foot skill at higher level.

Miles would have been included if he were healthy.

And there is no way at LB you are starting someone other than Jedi. Just no chance. He’s absolutely locked in at that position.

Jedi makes runs and crosses as an offensive threat. But defensively, he will cost us big time.

You want a CB to replace a LB and not have people think you are a moron?

His hatred of Jedi is weird. Feels like a troll almost.

He did at Bayern II.

Don’t hate Jedi. Just see the inevitability. Almost a year ago I said Sargent isn’t our 9 and I got torn apart on here.

You think the tactics are the same?

Tactics differ, so ARob does the job well for attacking third. But that’s not our problem as is having a solid set back line. I’d rather sacrifice ARob inswingers for better defending when top flight teams are running at us.

Sure ARob hustles. But so did Jeff Agoos.

But we have trouble scoring goals. It's rare that we get give up a ton of goals, so I don't think taking away one of the few players that consistently creates chances is a good call.
