We need one more rotational, coverage LB imo and Kwon fits the bill perfectly. Would also provide needed depth in case of injuries. Of course Darrell will be able to split carries with Ingram when Kamara gets suspended. He can catch out of the backfield as well.

Neither would be very expensive.

I think Jones is the young, upside guy. I liked his burst in preseason, but he got injured early, and he didn't look the same. Maybe it was him being not fully healthy. I think of Darrell as insurance for Ingram, and a nice 3rd down back while AK is out

So many people here cry about how Payton had a vendetta against LSU.

But then those same people say that the Saints need to sign some extremely average LSU RB because he's sooooooo much better than the team's all-time rushing leader.

Because MUH ALABAMA.

Kwon wouldn’t be signed to be a backup. If they go get him it’s to be the other starting LB with Davis but I think they are content with Werner starting and the depth they have with Kaden Ellis and the 5th round pick from Appalachian State is supposed to be a good player for where we got him. It would have to be a vet minimum one year deal with playing incentives.

I think they are more than content. That's why Kwon still isn't signed.

Kamara been pretty average overall, he's overrated so replacing him with another avg rb is all you gotta do.

I can't blame them for wanting to play Werner. The team needs to get as many cheap starters as they can. Kwon would be a good add at vet min, but Werner could potentially be more long term so I understand going that route

The thing about RBs like Michel and Williams is that either they or somebody comparable will be available all season. A bunch of competent experienced RBs will be dumped on cutdown day like we did with Murray last year.

Unless you bring one of these guys in and they just blow you away, there's no hurry.

We could really use a TE also. If we could get Thaddeus Moss some kind of way that would also be great.
