BBQ Station in the Chevron station on 21 across from Half Shell Ouster House.

Sticks in Mandeville has damn fine wings.

Not sure how Pyre off 21 stays open, never looks crowded. Went once and we were disappointed. Can’t serve good Q without traffic, I know what we ate seemed to be reheated multiple times.

How’s the little spot further north up 21, big daddy’s or sweet daddy’s or something? Any good?

Sweet Daddys is probably the best in that area. We went to Pyre a few weeks ago and will not go back. It was not good.

Terrible location. Nothing has survived in that spot for some reason.

Pyre in Old Mandeville is OK, nothing spectacular for the price.

Baco Bar was great. Owner/chef dying of cancer was the only reason it didn't survive.

Sweet Daddy's BBQ at 420 Tyler Street is pretty good.

Sweet Daddy’s is average at best and Pyre is extremely underwhelming.

Add BBQ joints to the list of places lacking on the Northshore.

Sticks or Sweet Daddy’s is probably your best bet. Sticks wings are awesome.

I’ve heard good things about the BBQ in the gas station on 21.

Went to Pyre at the trailhead a couple of weeks ago. It was not good.

Pyre may have the worst food I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant

Sweet daddy's is our favorite. They have been above average everytime we been. Tried Sticks once and it was just ok.

Sweet Daddy's is fine. I agree I went to Sticks once and found it to be mediocre at best.

I believe they are in bay St. Louis now. related to Thorny Oyster and the old Oxlot 9.

Yep Smoke is in BSL now. Oxlot 9 and Smoke were both owned by the same chef. He is now in BSL with Thorny Oyster and Smoke.

Also in BSL is Murky Waters which is supposed to be pretty good as well in addition to Smoke.

Now a taco spot. Pretty authentico. Good tacos.

overpriced, underwhelming bbq. Service was good, but the food unfortunately wasn't. Haven't been back, nor will I
