Trade all the players for draft picks if u can…burn a year to get top 5 pick then trade back with that one as well…year 3 in process we should be loaded with draft capital due to current contracts being up and dead money being over…lets suck it up for 2 years…year 3 should be fun

You don't waste the current top of the league defense with your prescribed nonsense.

Yeah let’s burn down our franchise and start from scratch. Great plan.

how can you trade down when we are already picking very low?

besides payton would die of a heart attack if trading down was suggested to him, rather he would demand to trade up and give up all his picks on an often injured project player that needs years to develop

Good franchises know how to stay competitive year in and out. The Patriots didn’t just rank when Tom left, and it doesn’t make any sense for us to do so. So much was made of our cap situation last year and we got through it. This is a good organization with good pieces, and you don’t just blow that up.

Yup. Chasing picks like the Browns did for 20 years is not where you want to be. Saints fans are so spoiled. Willing to trade consistency for picks in the draft (which is a crap-shoot at best) is absolute delirium.

With a pretty weak draft class there is no reason to trade down. None.
