Let's start by beating Florida State. We'll see how that goes and then I'll set the expectations for year 1. I would like a 9-3 season but I don't remember who we play from the East.

I don’t think he’s ever had the quality of skill position players that come LSU but I believe we will see a definitive improvement in our offensive line.

No he won't. We just experienced two 50/50 seasons. Kelly's first year is somewhat a was but hopefully we achieve over 50/50.

People will be unhappy year 1 because it’s a near complete rebuild.
But there will be SIGNIFICANT improvement in year 2 and playoff contender year 3.
No matter who the coach is, next year 9-3 will be a near miracle. The following year will be sort of like 2018 and we know what can follow that.

Honestly, all the sunshine pumpers are just getting excited to hide the fact that LSU whiffed on its top choices...again! And we all know how that turned out last time. I guess no one worth a salt wants to go up against Saban, Kiffin, Jimbo, Leach, etc. every year, when they can just crush the pansies in the Big-12 and Pac-12 instead. Even Riley was smart enough to duck out on the SEC West for a Pac-12 South where he can run train. So we settled. Good luck with that.

I'm afraid he'll be a Jimbo 2.0. I hope like hell I wrong but I can see him averaging 3 losses a year. That is not good enough for this kind of hire and money paid out.

To say notre dame hasn’t been a championship contenders under BK is ridiculous. They’ve made the playoff twice and the national Championship game once. They didn’t win, but if you make it that far, you’re obviously a contender.
