Great news, I’ve long thought Marvel/Sony should do a college and then if he’s still willing an adult trilogy with Holland. It’d be cool to see the character grow through phases of life into an adult and taking on bigger threats.
Predictions for how this plays out? I’ll go first
SM4 - Scorpion and Kraven
SM5 - Venom
SM6 - MCU Sinister Six (Vulture, Mysterio, Scorpion, Kraven, Goblin...maybe Chameleon?) all financed by Kingpin

I’m sure he’ll do this next trilogy and then call it quits. He’s about to get some RDJ money. Both Sony and the Mouse know how important it is to keep him around for the next several years.

I feel like your suggestion would be treading Spider-Man 3 (Tobey) lines again. Venom is a strong enough character to carry his own film. Unless he becomes more the antihero and they team up against a bigger threat.
I think the symbiote shows up in the next one and maybe Peter wears it, but the stinger is MCU Brock (possibly still played by Tom Hardy) getting it for the sequel. Two movie arc for the symbiote.

I just hope we can see Miles Morales in one of these at some point. He's been hinted and and rumor is he is hinted at again in NWH.

Going from Multiverse to Scorpion & Kraven is backwards booking, they brought over MCU Brock for a reason.. and it's not for a movie 4-6 years from now
also, Sam Raimi wanted nothing to do with Venom, different story.. different times.
I totally forgot about Sony already casting Kraven, but I maintain my original point.

And if not him, then recast with an appropriately aged actor. Comics Spiderman went to college, worked for a big city newspaper, got married, got divorced, etc, etc. We've now had three different actors do the confused teenager origin story. I think the character is established.
