Definitely get the roast beef, undressed.. I also like the fires with the creole mustard. The boudin pizza is good too. Get both and have the leftover pizza for breakfast.

Roast Beef Poboy - one of the best in the city

Pepperoni Pizza - I love their pizza b/c it's thin crust and the sauce isn't too sweet. Add some mushrooms, boudin, and feta and get busy.

Shrimp Poboy - Not bad at all...again, one of the better ones in BR.

You should get plenty of cash. THe prices are too high and you will leave hungry,..

the roast beef po boy

We went to the Past Time Jr, and this is what my wife ordered. She asked for a side of gravy to dip the po - boy in, she was denied. The waitress said the owner will not allow gravy for dipping the poboy in, we thought she was joking, but she was not and said the owner was there so she could not bring us any, instead the waitress brought it to the back and put a little more on it... that coupled with the worst shrimp platter I have ever gotten and we have not been back.

My wife is a server there. I'm gonna ask if she did that and set her straight.

Not even close to being the same animal. They should change the name.

I don't think he's around anymore.

I miss him, though, and the expression of "I wanna beat your arse" when I would ask him for something extra.

I always thought he was the owner of the old one.

Did he sell out, or was I mistaken?

Randy and Rickey(jerri curl) are sons of the deceased owner and took over quite a few years back. Not sure if momma is still around.. Rickey is definitely a strange bird and tough on the customers at times from what I have seen over the past 30 plus years of going there.

Randy has managed the original for years. Rickey was just too, um, lets say, un-dependable. The family owned Wesley's over in the Broadmoor Shopping Center many moons ago..........
