The wife wants to go to Ralph and kacoo's tonight any suggestions
In an earlier post by the owner it was stated that the restaurant had 29 employees. it's hard to believe they lost that many people.
Here's the real story from someone who works there...i mean worked. 2 people were hired in the kitchen. one as chef and one as a sous. the sous worked 48 hrs last week and only got paid for 40. the person passing out the checks said they don't pay for overtime but didnt even pay the normal rate for the 8 hours, so her check was only for 40 hrs. the chef was getting paid salary but it only amounted to $5.00 an hour. So they both tried to talk to the owner but he didnt want to discuss the situation in front of them both so the sous chef already found a job, with me. i cant speak for the chef.
i dont know if he is putting it online. i can e-mail it to you if you want. and i know damon but i think he is working at champps now.
a week from friday. i just finished the menu today
it's in the oak grove shopping center in prairieville
in the kitchen i've got 7 people right now. i have no clue abou front of the house. but to start we are trying to hire as many people as we can
check out the thread on l.a. steakhouse and oyster bar
We'll have a kids menu as part of our regular menu, but on kids night add a few items, plus we have a grill in he bar area so we are going to be cooking some of the kids food where they can see it being cooked.
no, it is a completely different owner. i wouldnt want to work for the people who used to own it. this guy is a family man. and wants families to come in more than anything. i think kids night will be on tuesday's
that's pretty crazy that you remember that. call my wife and tell her to clean her car.
yes we will have a seperate lunch menu. po-boys, some burgers, fried seafood, entree salads, hamburger steak with caramelized onion and mushrooms, french dip sandwich, chicken fried steak, etc. then the dinner menu will be a little nicer.
Did you ever ride in that saturn. she's made it the dirtiest car ever.
i worked for him in mandeville on the lakefront and then was offered a job from him in the quarter but i went to culinary school instead. my wife was a sou chef at juban's for 6 years she was hired as a front of the house manager but will be helping in the kitchen as well
