Things I’m hearing: LSU offered Lincoln Riley $12 million a year. I hear Oklahoma is matching money on an extension for him to stay, but USC could get involved. Seems like USC has also made a play at Iowa State’s Matt Campbell.

I personally think $12M/yr is ridiculously high. Don’t up it.

This is his agent floating shite around. He didn’t want Lincoln to say he wasn’t going to LSU, so now he’s throwing out USC rumors to keep leverage.

The narrative that OU doesn’t pay coaches and is in financial trouble is one of the stupidest ones out there

They are top 10 in revenue and have a much larger endowment than LSU. Also huge donors

If this is the case then OU better be happy with this year. They will never win more than they did the last few years.

A&M has not taken the step they thought they would in becoming a true championship level team year in and year out.

If they did match then he will be fired within 4 years for not producing a National Championship. 12 million comes with serious stipulations.

He better bolt to USC if they offer.

It’s all bullshite. If Oklahoma had”matched the offer” it would be public knowledge by now.
