everyone and their mom on this board had sources that said Riley was coming to LSU. Twitter and other media were using this board as references to report Riley was coming.
Riley came out yesterday after their loss and straight up said "I will not be the next coach at LSU".
So naturally the board melts because our "insiders" are really internet trolls.

Here is an outsider’s view. Woodward has just been putting out feelers and the “insiders” turned that into a “done deal”. Now everyone is melting even though the process is just now starting in earnest.

Someone spread a false rumor and it spread like wildfire. Some speculate he was never offered to turn it down and others believe he changed his mind. Literally no one on this board has a clue what happened or what is going to happen. Board is a cesspool of stupidity which is nothing new. Everyone throwing darts per usual.

LR agent softens the blow of not making the playoffs by feeding into a rumor LR was going to LSU. Now OU fans are happy a coach that lost to OSU and had a bad season will be around. LR still may be in play depending on backlash but the only fanbase that was manipulated was sooners. But LR and agent were in on all this subterfuge for sure and may still be in play if the stunt backfires with OU administration.
