Puts OU in a better situation for CFP with an OU win… Riley out? The Saban dream?

Michigan and probably Notre Dame would both get in before OU

Yes. They will absolutely show-horn ND in there if it’s remotely plausible.

I think we want Bama to win just to be on the safe side. CFP committe is unpredictable.

This is what I was alluding to. I think this really pumps OU Up for the game tonight, and by extension makes Riley coming to LSU difficult to envision

OK State is better than OU, if anything it should speed up Riley to LSU, if that's the play

It would only delay it. If Oklahoma is unwilling to offer a pay raise and extension it changes nothing.

Even if Riley and Scott have a handshake agreement, he’s not coming if they make the playoffs imo.

No it doesn’t.

Georgia in (unless somehow Bama loses tonight but beats them, then I don’t know what you do. My guess would be the SEC is left out of the playoffs and they should be if this happens)

Cincinnati in

Michigan in

Notre Dame in

Nothing Oklahoma does will likely put them in the playoffs. Not even winning their conference championship. It will take several teams in front of them losing. If the Georgia/Bama chaos I mentioned above happens, if Cincinnati loses their championship game or if Michigan loses theirs, then maybe Oklahoma gets in if they win out.

Disagree. We can’t wait this long.

On a separate note, I’m guessing all the downvotes are because the thread cast a mere shred of doubt on Riley being a lock- lol
