I see these ads everywhere (including TD) and have heard both good and bad reviews on this particular brand of boots. I think some of their styles look pretty good for more dressy occasions. Obviously they’re city slicker boots not really made for work but curious if anyone has a pair and what they think of them.

Weighing getting myself a Black Friday present TIA

They are awesome. I’ve had a pair of ostrich for 3 years now and it’s the best pair of boots I’ve ever owned.

I’ve got some Nolans. They’re great. Comfortable and quality.

They actually have a work boot now.

I have a calf skin and a lizard skin, and everyone in my family has at least 1 pair.

They offer top notch customer service.

From my experience, they are better than Ariat and Justin, equal to Tony Lama, below Lucchese.

If interested in value and comfort, they are at the top of the leader board.

There are several brick and mortar stores now. San Antonio has one. They run narrow in my opinion. So, I would recommend trying on a pair.

They make a top quality boot material wise though. The store I visited had a great selection, and more offerings than just boots.

The new square toe they have might fit me better, I just haven't been through there to give them another chance.

I own a couple pairs of Tecovas. Really comfortable boots straight out of the box. Just bought a pair of the gator skins that look super clean. I think they have a line of work boots too if that’s what you’re looking for.

Y'all wearing ropers or cowboy?

Their ropers look to have an extremely short shaft, a slight city slicker/metrosexual vibe, like Sir Winston would own a pair.

Are they decent in person?

To me the last on Tecovas puts the arch in a weird spot. I bought a pair of these as well as a pair of Cavendars gator (both ropers) and they fit great. Cuero

Cowboy boots only.

I'm not interested in ropers, but I've been wearing boots all of my adult life.

I think ropers are targeting folks who don't really wear boots.

lulz…you should educate yourself before speaking.

I have 5 pair and they’re great for exactly what situation each boot is designed for.

Are you a cowboy? Do you ride fences or sort cattle at a sale barn or feed lot? I know a couple of guys who do and they wear ropers FWIW. They’d disagree.

Go for it...I have 2 pair. no complaints and ordering and returning for size change was seamless.

Good boots for a good price.
