Thoughts on a DeSantis/Tulsi ticket?

Now, if Trump is the nominee, then absolutely not since there’s a pretty high chance Trump dies in office simply due to his age, and I think Tulsi would be disastrous for the country when it comes to the economy.
However, let’s just say Trump doesn’t run and endorses DeSantis to where he’s the nominee… Tulsi is a very tempting choice for VP. She agrees with Trump supporters on basically everything when it comes to foreign policy, the border, our civil liberties, our treatment of veterans, prison reform, CRT, school choice, and standing up for kids. Just don’t let her go anywhere near the economy and I think she could be a very good choice for VP. Plus you’d have two young candidates with actual family values rather than one who has his son run dozens of Ponzi schemes and a wicked stepmother who raised well… this creature:
Plus it gives DeSantis one hell of a push when he says that Joe Biden was 100% full of shite when he said he would stand up for all Americans just to create an Untermenschen class, and right out of the gate DeSantis could prove that he actually means that by selecting Tulsi as his VP. Plus she’s a woman of color which would go nicely against Kamala if she’s the nominee, and Tulsi is very effective at shredding her. I think this may be a brilliant ticket, so long as Tulsi not do anything economically related.

Absolutely the frick not.
I like Tulsi, but she is a Dem.
Desantis needs someone that is lockstep with him politically.

My mind says no to Tulsi, but my boner says yes

No on Tulsi. A dim is a dim.

Save for economic issues, I don’t see where they disagree. Again, don’t let her near that, but I think she’d be a great foreign policy adviser.

She's a Democrat. The VP has an actual important role with such a close Senate.
No. Get a staunch conservative.

frick no.
Gabbard is the enemy on the economy, which far outweigh her positions on culture war bullshite or foreign policy.
She does not gain the GOP one single vote it doesn't already have.

Tulsi is a palatable Democrat, but I dont want her anywhere near the White House.
I'm team DeSantis 2024, and I think the likely VPs would be:
Ted Cruz
Nikki Haley
Tim Scott
I personally like Tim Scott, but it would invite some criticism of trying to pander (which Democrats are immune from). Cruz would be good as well - if he could be talked into waiting. I want to see a somewhat united front from the GOP in '24, not 25 candidates.

It's definitely something I would get behind

She gets zero Democrat votes
She gets negative American votes

There is no such thing as "don't let the Vice President near that" with a closely divided Senate.
frick no. This is a terrible idea and you should feel bad for thinking that it isn't.

There are literally thousands and thousands of people who would fit this description. You don't choose the VP based on the fact that they may have a valid opinion or two on foreign policy.
Just no.

You have to ask yourself would Tulsi result in more people in blue and purple states voting for Desantis than otherwise would or would she result in fewer people in red and purple states voting for Desantis than otherwise would. I don't know the answer to that question but the people running the Desantis campaign had better know the answer to that question before going down this road.

How about a Maher/Tulsi ticket. You'd love that.
