Awful to have high school football on Saturday
?????

It’s great. I like having the chance to see other teams if I see Chalmette every Friday night

If no one played on Saturday UNO would start a shitty program to try to fill that void

This Catholic defense is bad

It's a shame, they shouldn't be.
Had some key DL injuries but they are back. I hope the DC lives in the film room this week. He got picked apart in the middle and down the field, at the same time. Not sure how that happens.

Will we find out if BM/Jesuit & Catholic/St Paul is on Friday or Saturday?

BM/Jesuit will be Friday at 6 PM at Gormley

I don't know why they're starting at 6 instead of 7

maybe something to do with Celebration in the Oaks?

Not sure. Gives people less time to black friday shop

I'll be there watching as I'll be in town for Thanksgiving. I'm a Jesuit grad but have two nephews that play for BM.

I bet the crowd will be huge.

Anyone know anything about Ouachita Parish? Wondering how Ponchatoula matches up against them?

First year HC Garvin was at West Monroe for a long time. Went to Ruston for 2 years before going to Ouachita. Spread offense with a lot of running. When they throw it’ll be shots. DC was at Neville for a long time. Solid staff, lot of athletes on both sides of the ball.

Against WM the offense was shut down for a long time. WM was up 14-0 and Ouachita had something around 50 yards total through 2.5 quarters or so. Then a snap bounced off WM’s QB and Ouachita took it to the 2. It still took 5 plays, penalty in there somewhere, to score. Then WM returned the kickoff to make it 21-6. Ouachita hit a big pass play followed by a big run to get back in it.

The biggest change is in the last 20+ years when WM went up 21-6, Ouachita would’ve shut it down. They kept fighting and started to believe. It was pretty cool to see honestly. Impressive what Todd has done in less than a year for their culture.

Wonder why they’re not playing at Yenni?

That’s a way better option than playing at 6:00

My St. Fred warriors keep the dream alive with a 31-7 win over Vermillion. Facing Southern Lab in the semi's. Told ya'll Div IV was on notice.

Yenni holds, what? 5,000, 6,000? I'd love it at Yenni, park in my own driveway and walk... this game will be way too big of a draw.
There's nowhere not in New Orleans within miles that could accommodate the crowd.

Gormley holds 25,000, and is where both schools prefer to play.

LEO in the city will be stretched thin as it's Bayou Classic weekend.
