Didn’t have a chance to see what the reaction was today yet, but I hope everyone can take a step back now and realize the kid isn’t the answer. They were wrong how they handled the situation. Johnson should have played more than the first two series. I’m so glad this shitty staff only has two games left

Ps: someone please kick joe alleva in the dick the next time you see him

He likely had it removed and now identifies as Joan Alleva.

Max should’ve gotten couple series in 2nd half

Agree. Not sure we can make a real judgment on these QBs until we have a coaching staff that is at least somewhat competent.

That said, I think Nuss has a higher ceiling than Max, but it might be painful watching him get there.

Amazing analysis of a true freshman who hasn’t started a game yet.

Calm down. He’s a true freshman who showed a lot of promise. Evades the rush and has a cannon. Connected on several passes, but also made freshman mistakes. With a good OC, the kid has a high ceiling.

You’re a fricking idiot. You don’t know what he will be. WTF. He is a freshman a-hole.

Snap judgments are this board’s specialty.

And they’re never wrong.

His first game seeing significant playing time vs a Barry Odom coached defense of which he only received half of the starting reps in practice this week while being coached by a staff of buffoons... but yeah, he's not the answer.

Some of y'all are IDIOTS.

I agree with this, once shock/juice factor wore off Max should have got some reps while the coaching staff coached up the young gun slinger.

It’s too soon to say if he’s the answer or not but he’s a project that will take a year at minimum to mature. That sucks.

That’s a good point, he has played 1 whole game so now we can take a step back and draw some wildly inaccurate conclusions

Tough to say that. His throws were REALLY off in the first two series and getting worse. Should have started Nuss over him and likely would have had another TD.

Nuss is a freshman playing like a freshman behind a mediocre OL and poor OC. We really don’t know what we have in him yet.

I guess you never watched JR as a freshman.

He gets half the practice snaps prior to one game, no running game, mediocre O Line vs one of the craftiest DCs in the NCAA and he is already a bust.

Welcome to what most of us knew after the first few games. It's not Max. It's not Nuss. It's the garbage staff. Some people thought changing the QB would fix things?
